Congrats! This was one of our top choices, but we're way down on the PS3 waitlist.

Care to say where you'll be giving up a slot?

Our PK3 got into DC Bilingual off the waitlist this week. We were mid-teens. Gave up a Peabody spot.

Got a call about K at West. We were in the top 10. We are passing for another school.

I got a call for Bancroft for PK-3, in-boundary, no sibling preference. We were <5 on that WL. We passed for another school (lotteried into Creative Minds).

We got a call from IT for first grade, original WL number in the 20's. We accepted.

Not PP but to me this would be a no-brainer. Stokes was our first choice, although being 300+ on the waitlist, we've accepted we won't get in.

Got a call from Hearst for K asking if interested in staying on the WL. DC was in the single digits.
(We enrolled DC at a school we originally ranked lower, but have come to believe is a better fit.)

Congrats and welcome. I imagine this list may move even more. I heard there are 4 rising 1st graders that moved out of state.

^^ interesting. Do you think IT is just finding out about this now (and/or the families are just deciding this now)?
