Did they give any indication how many more slots had opened up?

Received call for Appletree CH for PK3. WL number in teens.

Ditto, 19 to be exact.

Called Powell today - their registrar is out of town for two weeks, so they won't be making calls until then, unfortunately.

I just spoke with DCPS. Schools should have access to the waitlists starting tomorrow. That will probably be the earliest anyone will hear from DCPS.

^^how is this possible? MV published their WL online weeks ago. Wouldn't all schools in the common lottery get their WL's at the same time? Wondering if there are additional cross validations the central office is doing and what those would be exactly.

That was the first round, before initial offers had been accepted. Now the initial offers have been accepted or rejected, and the waitlists are starting to move. None of this could start until the accept/reject deadline of May 1.

MV says calls will go out starting tomorrow or Thursday. They will also update their online WL doc.

Just got a call from Appletree Riverside for Pre-K 4. Had a single-digit waitlist number (and declined, so someone else should get a call soon, I hope. They were a little disorganized when I called back.)

Called E.L. Haynes and learned that everyone came through to enrollment for PS3.

Called LAMB and they said everyone accepted for PK4. I'm hoping that those people change their minds!

My son was #30 on the Apple Tree CH list and we got a call today. Paperwork is due by Friday.

Got an email from Lee Montessori indicating they had a spot for both my children, grades K (#6 on WL) and PK #44 on WL). We were given two weeks to make a decision and enroll or let it go.

Are you taking the spots? If not will you give them up quickly?

Just got a call from Garrison. Was in the single digits. We're going to take it.

For the Lee person, is your #44 spot for PK3 or PK4?

I called Lee yesterday. They told me about 5 pk3 spots were offered and something about sibling accepted preference. In the 50s for PK3 - maybe I'll get a call in January. Ha.
