It was reported that they met online -- not sure when. I believe all involved attended Ohio State -- dentist, wife, and surgeon. Her degree was in early childhood education; she worked at a daycare at some point. |
Hmmm, not really. |
But why would they all go back to the upstairs bedroom after one of them opened a door on the first level? I believe that's where they were found. Yes, door could have been locked from the inside upon killer's exit. |
Assuming he was actually the person of interest on the video (was this actually confirmed? Does it show him getting into or out of that car?), then he could have been trying to hide his identity by wearing that hoodie and not looking towards cameras. |
So if I show up at your house with a gun and tell you to go to the bedroom, what are you going to do? Come on, PP. |
But why would the killer instruct the person answering the door to "go back upstairs" instead of shooting them there on the spot? I guess if he wanted to make one suffer by watching the other be shot? Or to decrease the likelihood of getting caught by not allowing time for the one upstairs to call 911? But if he put that much thought into premeditating this, why drive an easily identifiable car? |
| I find it hard to believe that a vascular surgeon didn't intellectually unerstand that he would be caught with today's surveillance and forensucs. He didn't seem to really care about being caught but yet also didn't take his own life or turn himself in. Maybe it was some sort of psychological break, not that it would establish an insanity defense. |
I'm sure he knew he would be a suspect as the ex. Never bounced back from the divorce and blamed her for ruining his life, maybe. |
I mean…you’re asking rational questions about an irrational situation. This guy shot a couple in cold blood leaving two children orphaned. He was a surgeon who could have anything he wanted—beautiful home, vacations, prestige, etc. Clearly something was not right in this dude’s brain. |
| Now we wait to find out if the coworkers did know that he had been stalking / harrassing / threatning them. |
Well then what was his car doing in the neighborhood. For whatever reason, he never got over her. Ten years later? You would think a surgeon who doesn't look like a gargoyle would have no problem meeting attractive women. |
Yes, he likely knew he would get caught. He probably planned to off himself but couldn’t go through with it. |
|
He drove his own car to the crime scene, walked to the house, walked back to his car and drove away. He made no effort to not get caught.
It will be interesting to hear his thinking / the motive if he talks. |
I would say he made *some* effort. If that's him in the video, he is wearing a hoodie and not really looking up. It was also done in the middle of the night. |
| Seems he could not bear that she moved on and was happy. Likely a psychopath narcissist. |
