This is so very sad. Hopefully there will be an arrest soon.

The wedding took place in the home where they were found shot.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgzP6yhd2vw&t=30s&pp=0gcJCU0KAYcqIYzv They had a 1 year old and a 4 year old. Spencer was a dentist and Monique a SAHM. |
|
Very sad. The kids were 1 and 4.
Very traumatic for the 4 year old. |
Yes. And for the folks that went to check on them - it sounds like the dentist who Spencer worked for called 911 while other co-workers went to the house. They called 911 twice - once to say they heard the kids and then once to say there was a body. Just awful. |
The sad thing is that the cop who went for the initial welfare check, rang the doorbell and walked away. He should have heard the children, he should have peeked in the windows. Thank goodness for those co-workers but how traumatizing. The lazy officer should have done his job. |
| I read about this earlier today ... something sounds so fishy. I feel so terrible for the kids. |

Apparently some people are commenting that her ex is a prime suspect |

Who is the bio father of the kids? |
The police do welfare checks every day, multiple checks. They do look in windows and walk around the house assumimg there is no fence. Maybe the children were quiet when he went and the bodies were upstairs.. Can’t just go busting down doors. People get pissed. |
The couple was married 5 years and the kids were 4 and 1, so I'm guessing the deceased couple are the bio parents. Nothing I've read has said otherwise. |
Her ex is a vascular surgeon and the divorce went through in a matter of months, so does not sound too contentious. The neighborhood they live in is not great and there have been several residential burglaries in the immediate area recently, I think maybe a robbery gone wrong? |
| Why would a wealthy couple live in a bad neighborhood somewhere so affordable like Columbus? That doesn't make sense. |
Dentists aren't always wealthy due to the initial, crushing medical degree. They gave an oddly high suicide rate. |
