Kate Middleton's New Hair

My 2 cents -

She is doing this deliberately. She is planning to go for a major facelift and makeover after the treatment is over. In the meanwhile, she will try out these terrible wigs and makeup to distract us from remembering how she looked before she had cancer and before she aged.

So, a few more odd hair and makeup - and then she will come with a new, refreshed nipped and tucked face. She is not very sharp. She is predictable.

It makes her look washed out.
The darker hair looks much better.
Maybe is she kept her dark hair as a base color then added in this color as a balayage highlighted look would have been better vs. the all over color as seen here.

And I agree, after enduring chemo for cancer this is likely not even her real hair.
Likely a wig.

I think it looks like her real hair but bleached,.with an added fall and extensions..Her hair is much more voluminous than it was and thet texture is thicker than her real hair.

And I remember how devastated she was to lose her hair and have her appearance change so quickly during/after the treatment. I think that the appearance changes were, in a way, as hard for her as the disease. And people were so mean. I remember a girl at school saying something really nasty about what her mom had said about my mother's changed appearance (they didn't know she had cancer or was undergoing treatment).

My point is, you guys know this woman had cancer. You must realize it is highly likely that the full details weren't released. This woman was very ill, and may still be ill. She may NOT WANT the public to know it if her cancer is not, in fact, cured; she may not want people to know if she is still battling with the disease.

It seems so mean-spirited to be viciously gossiping about her hair.

How will you feel about posting these comments if--god forbid--it turns out that she IS still sick and something tragic happens in the near future to make you aware of that?

There are plenty of healthy celebrities to mock. Can't you focus on one of them?

Thank you. So many heartless posters.

The rest of you should take a look in the mirror. This isn’t about criticizing a healthy someone in the public eye who puts themselves out there for public consumption.

This thread shows the worst of DCUM.

I understand that cancer treatment changes hair. My mom's got super curly and kind of kinky. However my mom got an awesome wig that looked so much like her "real hair" that people would tell her that they liked her haircut.

My point is that Kate has the resources to get wigs or hairpieces that look as good or better than her real hair. So I agree with other people that the bad blonde is a deliberate choice to distract from her face, maybe to make her face look fuller?

ALL of this ^^. Honestly, it's the usual crew of vipers who can't just say that the hair color isn't flattering on her, but instead have to (once again) question whether she even had cancer, and trash her (once again). DCUM never disappoints.

You idiot, she was trying to get one of the little girls under the umbrella with her. It was not the crisis you'd like to pretend it was.

Kate is very fortunate to have so many resources in battling cancer, but at the end of the day, she’s a mom of young kids fighting cancer, going to work and trying to look her best and put a smile on her face as she does that.

Maybe she thinks it looks good. Maybe she’s done playing the exhausting game of pretending she’s gone through chemotherapy with no impact on her appearance. Everyone’s youthful looks fade at some point and what’s left is your character.

Thought they said she was done with the treatment

Yes. She is now prepping for major plastic surgery for her face and neck. So, she is doing these ridiculous get ups that are very jarring and it sets expectations for the people. Then she will come up with a new look and that will look better than what she has now.

Doubtful the firm would allow it. The firm is careful to appear to use their money for unnecessary cosmetic purposes. If the kids need braces you never see them in public wearing them. Perhaps where Invisalign started. If the firm was into appearances, Charles and William would have done hair implants.

She looks like an attractive chain smoking 60 something grandmother who’s convinced she’s supper hot.

Supper? Lol

You are sick. She’s dying. She has stage IV cancer.

I didn't read the entire thread, but most posters wish her well. They just prefer the previous hair color. That's OK. I have great admiration for anyone courageous enough to marry into the British Royal family, and I like this person in particular. I still think the hair color is wrong for her.

But if she wants to experiment, she should go ahead!

Meh. At least I would offer little kids an umbrella instead of leaving them in the rain like Catherine.

And you know this...how? I'm sorry but you 'opinion' is just that. Not fact so please stop acting like you know them.

And before you say I don't know them either..remember I am not telling others how they feel or what they want...I do not know
