The idea that she's "precious' because she's a princess with doll hair and has lost 30 pounds since college (most of that before her health scare last year) is really something. She's had an amazing platform for the past, what, 13 years of her marriage, yet she's done nothing with it. She hasn't even tried. Kate visited her "life's work," her Early Years patronage, exactly once so far this year, in June. Diana took public speaking lessons and became a wonderful advocate for some unpopular charities like AIDS.

That’s great for Diana and those she helped. Not sure what that has to do with Kate. They are different and do things differently. And Kate seems to bring joy to people wherever she goes. It’s nice. It’s not that serious.

If Kate doesn’t want to be compared to Diana, maybe she should stop dressing up in exact replicas of Diana’s clothes?

As long as she keeps cosplaying Diana, people are going to comment on just how much she falls short of her icon.

Where was Kate "cosplaying Diana"? Provide examples. Actually - nvm. Just seek some therapy for your bizarre obsession with her.

I think the chances that she planned to have people talking about a bad wig and not sharing an umbrella with children is infinitely small. Showcasing huge missteps the same week that Harry visits the UK was definitely not planned.

Oh it was planned. What are you talking about?

Anytime Kate faces any criticism, she dresses up as Diana. Most recently, she did it at the rugby match after her wig malfunction.

This isn’t a secret. They put out press releases about she’s copying Diana’s style intentionally.

Please. That’s just this week.

If you want more, just google Kate copies Diana’s outfits and you can find an example for every occasion. I’m not going to copy and paste thousands of photos here.

I don't know what Kate wants. I was simply stating that they are different. They both are good Princesses of Wales too in their own ways.

She does look nice when she copies Diana’s clothes! OTOH I always thought it must feel really creepy for William to see his wife dressed up as his mom.

Amazingly, Kate also seems to be taking inspiration from Meghan Sussex. When Kate's dresser Natasha Archer left and made her Instagram account available to the public this summer, a few eagle-eyed watchers spotted that Natasha had been following Meghan, Meghan's hairdresser and makeup artist, Meghan's stylist, and 30 of Meghan's closest friends, some of whom where nowhere near celebrity status.

My god, the infantilization of Kate is appalling. She's a 40-something woman who should be expected to show up for her job, make public speeches, and, yes, choose appropriate hair styles.

Kate at her core is actually very similar to Cassie in Euphoria. Her goal in life is just the guy. Just because she has a platform doesn’t mean she’s interested in doing anything with it. She’s actually a bit similar to Melania but Melania puts more effort into her fashion and honestly seems a bit more hands on with her kid (which makes sense because DT seems more hands off than Will).
