That board appointment was a ridiculous way to imply he is a Dem. This was one of those advisory boards that has ZERO executive authority. I used to serve on one. I am a Dem and a Republican gov appointed me. Party affiliation was not at all part of the appointment process.

I guess we should be happy that MAGA wants to disengage themselves from the likes of this guy. They’re lying through their teeth to do it, but hey, it’s a start.

I hope he is rethinking his call for democrats to get meaner and is reconsidering his characterization of ICE as the Gestapo.

The president said, today, that protesters would be met with strong force. He’s made too many inflammatory comments to count. You don’t get to clutch your pearls.

He said that yesterday, in regard to the parade today. He warned protesters that they better not try disrupting the parade.
He's right. Protesters at the parade will be met with great force since they don't belong there - that is not the purpose of this event.

Not how protest works. Protests belong EXACTLY where they are not wanted. That's what makes it protest. Imagine if sit-ins had just happened at the local park or church rather than at the literal lunch counters that refused to serve Black people.

You wanna protest?
Get a permit. The military parade is a scheduled event. I doubt you would be granted a permit. But, go ahead... try.

There were permits given out for protests all over the country. It was fine. Try it.

Around 80% on this thread saying he's right-wing, all of it on both sides being wishful thinking.

Maybe wait a few days.

The Minnesota assassin who shot Democratic lawmakers “voted for Donald Trump and was a strong Trump supporter,” according to his best friend.

I cannot stop laughing at how sad that “parade” was!!!! There were fewer people there than on the child king’s cake!

Not all situations/locations require a permit

You can’t argue with these crybabies. The protests were overwhelmingly successful and the birthday party was as sad as any he had as a child. Now we know that it was a maga domestic terrorist that assassinated two good and duly elected people. Loser are mad about losing.

Why don’t you post a link to prove that the person who did this was a “crazy right wing gun nut.”
