Let's hope not. |
WOW, what an un-presidential POS. So evil, spiteful and hateful.
The nutjob religious love him. So sickening that he is our President. Sad! |
Here's what's sick - the Trump White House is only releasing around 13% of the transcripts from his public events. It's likely because he's been becoming more and more rambling and incoherent and more and more prone to going off script and that, and his mental decline are what would be reflected in the transcripts. |

The first shootings were at the Hoffman's house, whose daughter called police. Then he went to the home of a rep in Maple Grove (believed to be Kristin Bahner) but nobody was home (caught on camera) Police contacted other LE agencies New Hope (11 minutes away) officer goes to Sen Ann Rest home, sees Boelter outside in his SUV with his lights on. Tries to talk to him and he DOES NOT RESPOND. I read that New Hope PD has 31 officers so not a big PD, and whether they had the information that he was impersonating LE I don't know, but if you're dealing with shooting of public official and indications more officials are likely targets that requires a heightened level of awareness. |
Forgot to add that he then left New Hope and went on to Brooklyn Center (10 mn) and killed the Hartmans. |
That is just stupid. Trump's bond was not for bail, it was because he was appealing a civil judgment where the judgment against him was the $454 million. You are required to secure the judgment amount, I suppose so you can't blow it all on legal costs of appealing or otherwise find a way to hide it. |
The WP had a deep dive into the shooter's life.
He grew up in a small town named Sleepy Eye, to which he returned as an adult to raise his family. Around 17 he had a religious conversion and declared himself a born-again Christian, preaching in the local park and even living there in a tent. His religious views seem to have become more extreme later in life. The article focuses on his religious views rather than his political ones.

“Wendy Thomas and her neighbors in Green Isle, Minnesota, had been asked to remain vigilant on Sunday as law enforcement officers, aided by drones and a state police helicopter, combed the area.
They were looking for her neighbor, Vance Boelter — a man Thomas had once invited to her home for a hog roast. She said she had been stunned to learn that he was wanted in connection with two shootings at the homes of state lawmakers. So when she paid a quick visit to another neighbor’s house and saw something out of the corner of her eye while driving away, she was on high alert. “Dad, there’s a person,” she recalled telling her father on the phone. To her left was a man she said appeared to be wearing all black and was covered in mud. He seemed to sense her looking at him, Thomas said, and he quickly moved toward a patch of tall grass, squatting low near a culvert as if trying to hide. Thomas, 43, couldn’t tell, but she said she felt in her gut that it was Boelter, the man authorities were searching for in connection to the attacks that had killed state Rep. Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband, and critically injured state Sen. John Hoffman (D) and his wife.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2025/06/19/minnesota-lawmaker-shooting-timeline/?utm_campaign=wp_post_most&utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter&carta-url=https%3A%2F%2Fs2.washingtonpost.com%2Fcar-ln-tr%2F432e913%2F68543467c2bee70ac1e960ef%2F596bc2b7ae7e8a44e7dcaab7%2F16%2F64%2F68543467c2bee70ac1e960ef |
