Shootings reported at homes of 2 Democratic lawmakers in Minnesota. At least 3 people shot, suspect at large

I have not read up on this aspect. I saw the breaking news alert about the shooting and then the VA guy who drove his car into the crowd of protestors and tapped out of social media for the rest of the weekend.

Special elections take time so the composition of both houses of the legislature would be affected for at least months. And he had a number of other legislators on his list.

Actual police had at least two chances to stop this guy with probably cause BEFORE he killed anyone, and failed to do so.

so, other than harassing people what good are the police?

Why don’t you post a link to prove that the person who did this was a “crazy right wing gun nut.”

Look at this MAGA classic.

You could say that Boelter “liberated” Minnesota from “the socialists and the burdensome leadership that the governor and the mayor have placed on this country,” by flipping both houses of the Minnesota state legislature, just a day after she said that’s what she was doing in Los Angeles.

Well were the FBI or DHS actually pursuing this guy? Looks like it was local police and the Feds were not active in the arrest.

Feds were investigating but yes the locals brought him in, good on them. I meant her comments may have inspired him. He’s also a puppy killer just like her.

Wow that is scary that the Feds would not go after this guy. Was there a stand down order given by Trump or Noem?

Sources tell 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that all 201 state lawmakers are under protective custody Saturday morning."

Time to STOP inciting political violence.

What? He is being charged in both state and federal court. The Feds are not standing down.

Also, even in a situation like this, local and state police vastly outnumber federal LEOs. You shouldn’t read anything into who the arresting agency was.

Donald Trump’s Bail Bond: set at $454 Million and then reduced to $175 Million

Vance Luther Boelter’s Bail Bond: set at $5 Million for butchering 2 people

Do you see how corrupt the Justice System is ?

Donald Trump was a civil appeal bond set by statute. Not a bail bond.

Boelter's bond was 5 million. Cheap for an assassin.

Do you now see how stupid you are?

Good grief. You’re a troubled person if this is where your mind goes.

NP no actually your side doesn't get to throw your hands up and wiggle out of the consequences of your actions. You call for violence and you are getting it, own it.

Exactly. Democrats are still shoving crazy woman Maxine Waters in the media. She’s inciting violence every time she opens her mouth. Why?

Two democratic legislators have been shot, one killed, because of right wing rhetoric. Who died at the hands of "crazy" Maxine Walters?

The "whatboutism" here is a massive fail.

Wow. We don't know that any right wing rhetoric caused this. Any more that left wing rhetoric resulted in the shooting at the ball park when Scalise came very close to death and a Capitol Policewoman was also seriously injured trying to protect the Congressmen.

And, what about Trump's two assassination attacks?

What about all the swatting of Marjorie Taylor Greene?

Schumer's rhetoric and the assassination attempt on Kavanaugh?

This is awful and terrible. All should stop the rhetoric. But Dems blaming rhetoric on GOP have no room to talk.

This works both ways. All the rhetoric is unnecessary.

Who is calling for violence these days? As part of routine political speech? MAGA republicans. Own it.

Come to terms with the reality of the morally bankrupt people you support.

+On Friday your Secretary of Homeland Security said that her federal troops were in Los Angeles to “liberate” the city from its duly elected state and local government, and yesterday, only hours after these assassinations, your President said that the leaders of America’s largest cities “are sick of mind, hate our country and want to destroy” those cities. Stand the f down on this one.

Yes and as she was saying this she had the FBI arrest a US senator. The FBI meanwhile did not do anything to catch this maga murder.

Honestly, though, after the events of the past weekend and the general tone of that failed birthday “perade,” if I was Trump or one of his high level lackeys I’d be wondering right about now about how much control I actually have over the armed forces to blindly do my bidding.

They might be making all sorts of awful promises that they can’t keep. I feel much better about the possibility that a significant portion of warfighters might actually refuse orders contrary to the constitution.

Here's some of the hateful rhetoric used by the president to cast Dems in a negative light.

One of his latests posts re: immigration raids in Blue cities:

"These, and other such Cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens. These Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it! There is something wrong with them. "

So you're in favor of police arresting people who haven't committed any crime? On what basis?
