You’re right it was 8 - 10. Some days it was more. Just go away. |
Right Marie?! Isn’t there any brioche? |
You have no proof of any of this. |
| Let me tell you, I put in the same six hours of brain work whether I’m at home or at the office. At my office you can’t even get on the Verizon network between 9am-3pm which tells me tons of people are just holed up in their offices with their phones. Most people can only do six hours a day of brain work and the rest is admin, reading, logistics, and a few personal tasks. For me the main difference is that with WFH I would put in another couple of hours that evening and on Saturday morning. |
You could hire a nanny? |
Marie Antoinette has entered the chat, again. |
The reality is that if you weren’t working at home, you’ll just use your iPhone at work. |

22 minutes to get from Potomac to Vienna today at 830am. Wow that is horrible.
|
+1 exactly. People that are not productive at home aren’t productive at the office either. - a fed on leave today because I am not allowed to work from home after my Dr’s app. I will enjoy my long weekend

OMG. We bought a mile away...from my spouse's job. I was a remote hire. I did not take this job with the expectation of commuting 5 hours a day. |
Yeah but you should have predicted America would elect an autocrat who’d abolish telework for no reason except to make you suffer. |
People needing to work 11 hours a day is indicative of how low productivity was. |
Like people can’t take breaks, snack, use the company gym, or even watch Netflix while at work. Managers need to manage, not count butts in seats. |
| Amazon, Facebook, most other big tech private companies are RTO. Why should the govt be any different. |
When did you get hired and what does your offer letter state as work location? |
