Rejected
3.8, 12 APs, State music and art awards, applied for BFA. We were a bit surprised, but looking at SCAD and Brown. |
I know a lot who got in last year RD after deferral. Not a longshot. |
Every year is different. |
Admitted
33 ACT 4.8 MCPS 4.25 UGA GPA 8 APs Classic Scholarship no mention of Honors |
So happy for all who have been accepted so far and pulling for those who have been deferred. UGA is a lot of fun. Know a lot of people who attended and I can’t think of a single person who didn’t enjoy it. |
Deferred
3.86/4.57 MCPS (not sure of UGA gpa) 32 ACT (but lower math score than the other three) 9 APs Decent ECs and essays She has some less selective schools higher on her list, so she’s doing okay. |
Obvious yeild protection. Their median is a 1320. |
This is delusional |
GaTech has a 10 percent oos acceptance rate. |
+1 |
Accepted with Classics scholarship. Public school, 1450, interested in business, 11 APs, 4.0 UW.
Visited the school and received emails and clicked on many if that somehow matters. |
Maybe UGA and GT are converging. But UGA does not come close to Emory. I know several UGA honors students rejected from Emory last year. |
Hard to compare acceptance rates and selectivity amongst the UGA, GT and Emory. They have different missions and attract different sets of applicants. All three are great though! |
deferred. 10 ap- rest honors if available. FCPS. UGA gpa 4.0
one of her recs i saw, amazing, the book essay was really good too. hoping for a march yes. |
It judged in the context of what the school offers. |
