Same. But with DD's SAT scores she knows best case scenario she gets deferred. But likely rejected.

Same. Not feeling hopeful for an admit EA. Maybe in RD but still a massive reach.

DD has 4.2, 11 APs, good EC, essay and LOR. But 1200 SAT Counselor thinks she'll get deferred. I think denied.

Is it bc of SAT?

My son has 34 ACT but “only” 7 APs as they don’t start taking them until junior year at his school so feeling like that makes it a big reach as UGA seems to love those kids that have taken a ton of APs.

Yes. Otherwise her stats and rigor are competitive for UGA.

Good luck to all of you - I hope all of your kids will be wearing their UGA socks in a few weeks! (That’s what they sent last year’s admitted students).

The SEC’s are seeing a huge increase in popularity and UGA in particular can attract a high stat kid. Wisconsin level kids are realizing UGA is just as good.

Denied for sure. Sorry.

Yeah, my twins are the opposite. They go to private schools with deflated grading and no APs. So they each have 3.8's but 1550+ SAT scores.

Fingers are crossed.

Good luck everyone!
