Hahahahahaa.

Even Achilles who didn't win one single game in the Fall had three called up from the 2011. One on them was even the keeper.

I enjoy the fact you take any chance you get to hit at Achilles.

But let’s have a heart-to-heart: You’ve been at this for several years with a particular focus on the 2011 squad. This tells me your DC was on the team for one or more previous years heading into U13 (and MLSNext) but did not get the invite to the MLSNext squad, did get the invite but did not see much playing time, or tried out and did not get the invite. I suspect it was the former rather than the latter.

I’m sorry things didn’t work out for you and your DC. That happens to lots of folks at different times in their child’s development. Ups and downs happen in every sport, heck, in every facet of life.

But you have to let it go. Having someone live rent free in your head is never a good thing.

The kids across all Achilles teams are good and competitive (of the 98 teams at MLSNext Fest last week, the U16 and U19 Achilles teams both placed in the top 25%).

The man can coach. Accept it and move on. The Achilles team you always dump on? That will get sorted, so please make peace with it and let it go.

Who cares?

Well, someone could claim that RiP FCV was actually the top club around, had a top-notch coaches and developed top players.

FCV was a great club and did develop some great players. That’s over though.

They are VRSC. Once TSF disintegrates and NVA continues to dig a hole to nowhere just hold your horses the Revolution will be televised

Have the local US recruiter in your payroll and you’ll get the most invites.
