She knew her husband was the leading contender on the short list. She was not caught surprised and unprepared. I think she looked fine. |
Her eyes and cheeks are sunken Toothy smile though it does light up her tired face. |
| The tan dress was awful on her skin tone. She needs a color wheel education, her hair dyed with blue undertones, a make up session, undereye dark circle cover up, and pink or red lipstick and cheeks. And pull the flopping side part back into a half up do, or do a middle part. I hope she gets a makeover as the campaign goes on. |
Agree. Id go as far as to say that if she had a good make up artist and a sleek, sophisticated haircut, the grays might not even matter. Not being married to a cretin might help, too. |
| NYT is already raving about her in comparison to the Trump women. Awful, sycophantic media. |
Wait. You're saying the media is sycophantic for Trump's campaign members? |
There is a poster here who has clearly lost her mind with Usha hate. |
I feel catty typing this but here we are: I had wondered whether her face was because she is very thin approaching 40 with 3 kids. |
| They also have a $1.4M 6000sqft+ house in Cincinnati |

I thought she looked fine and I’m not a trump supporter. I don’t think she cared enough to plan ahead. Also has 3 young kids. Pretty sure going forward she’ll access what she needs to play the part. Hopefully a stylist and shopper who can spend the time.
I’m thin, similar age lawyer with 3 kids and have gotten by with a minimalist look most of my life. That’s slowly changing. Sometimes I tell myself to plan ahead for events and majority of the time it doesn’t happen. |
I’m sure she mostly works out of DC office and resides in VA primarily. I’m not sure if she’s barred in Ohio but it’s a huge pain for law firms to have lawyers working remotely, especially if they are partners (not sure if she is). If she’s not a partner, that does suggest she had an arrangement for a part-time status but she would still need to be at least barred in Ohio to be based there substantially. Aren’t their kids in school in VA? Doubt she spends more than some portion of the summer in Ohio, if that. |
Post pandemic, the vast majority of law firms are much more lax about such things. At some firms, people are barely in the office. Bar regulations have loosened too because states want to keep residents especially if you are practicing federal law and not competing with attorneys who practice laws of the state. |
| I was concerned to find out that shes only 39. It’s evident that the woman hasnt heard of moisturizer or SPF. |
There may have been a makeup artist available at the RNC — but a mua with proper and flattering supplies and training for a WOC, especially one who is going to be photographed, is not a given. Better to go without makeup or with minimal make up than to take a chance at what an “available “ mua will come up with — unless you have time to play a bit and unless they have a good range of products. I liked the red dress, the blue dress was ok. I think all 3 dresses would have been enhanced with more jewelry. |
| Good point re makeup artist on site. Some have made me look really bad doing short TV interviews and such, generally I don’t know for sure until I see the video after. |
