I would have wanted to change seats so I could sit next to the dog |
Or a bear. Or his wife. |

Or the bear’s life partner |
This whole thread is crazy. One well behaved 'pit bull' has brought out all the haters talking about other pit bulls. You all just can not accept the fact that this dog is a good example of a pit bull. No, you have to bring up examples that say otherwise. But I ask you if you example is proof that all pit bulls are 'bad' ans 'aggressive' why can't this prove the opposite? If you had one boy in the playground that hit every kid would you say 'all boys are bad?" As if this one boy represents all boys? Of course not. Why can't you do the same for this indivdual dog? Why can't he/she represent some pit bulls? |
Good point. Men are responsible for faaarrrr more violent incidents than pit bulls, or any dog. Do you paint all men with the same brush OP? (Or is it just the black men?) |
All pit bulls that have attacked other living creatures are considered well behaved by their owners. I don't want to sit next to, behind, before a Pitbull in a plane, no matter how "well behaved" this animal is supposed to be. Even small Swiss army knives are not allowed in planes. Why on earth are owners of fighting dogs allowed to take their animal weapon onto the plane? |
This "statistic" is hot nonsense and you know it, but I'll help you out: People whose dogs (of any breed) bite generally fall into one of two categories. The first is "decent people who immediately take responsibility for the incident, and retrain/rehome their dogs" and "people who make stupid excuses and try to shift blame", with the latter being unfortunately common, regardless of the breed owned. So your nonsense example is kinda right, just not as universally applied to "all pit bulls" the way your stupid argument wants it to be. |
Why are any breed of dogs allowed in the cabins of a plane at all? I thought that airlines had put a stop to this? Only service dogs should be allowed in cabins, the rest should be put in cargo. If putting the dogs in cargo seems harsh, maybe muzzles and pet carriers might be a good idea.
Who cleans up after thee dogs when they poop or pee? |
Because that pitbull was most likely a legit service dog, there are no limits on breed per ADA Handlers are responsible for cleaning (and any dog can hold it for couple hours - up to 12 hours if we're talking about adult dogs) |
Ask to move your seat, don't accept it. |
We aren't talking about ALL pit bulls. The op mentioned this one particular dog which may be a "pit bull"type dog behaving beautifully. And instead of saying hey this is a good role model for pit bull breeds people like pp are still spouting hate on ALL pit bulls. Had this dog done something than you may have a point. But this dog was so well behaved that the op didn't even notice the dog was there. Good Dog! |
The plane ride was over. Where was she supposed to move after she already arrived? You aren't too bright are you, pp! |
I would make you move to the back of the plane and wait until everyone was done deboarding so you could have some time to think about your life. |
You don't know that. You don't get to state something as fact that isn't a fact. You can step off. |
