Why not? Show me where the police are held responsible for crimes they commit, especially crimes that, if pressed, they could argue they were doing to keep themselves safe. The people storming the capitol were acting offensively and though I am not a lawyer, that seems like it is easier to prosecute than someone smugly stepping aside. And those fascist cops who smugly stepped aside and all but welcomed the foot soldiers in.[/quote]
