Yes. It must hold the can shape so that you can see the ridges from the inside of the can.

Heinz baked beans.

I saw a TV show last night where they were making egg and chips for dinner and man, I want to go and get a bag of oven fries and just eat egg and chips. Maybe with a chip butty on the side.

No thank you to the Cranberry Orange sauce with Grand Marnier and lemon zest. I’ll take two lines of Ocean Spray, please.

PS - I had to look up Bavarois. It looks DELICIOUS!

I only know what Bavarois is from watching The Great British Baking Off. They have so many varied desserts. In America it's mostly just cakes, pies, and cookies. All very simply prepared.

I just looked up Bavarois, and it’s something I’d like to try. I do panna cotta a lot — and sometimes make it with egg nog.

Wait, what? What is this deliciousness? I need to make this this week.

Enjoy! All you need is a good quality egg nog or pouring custard (like Trickling Springs or whatever you like) and Knox gelatin. A sprinkle of nutmeg on top. It’s easy and delicious.

OMG. Making this today.

If you really want to go all out — lol — chill it in individual ramekins or glasses or yogurt pots. It looks festive and Tate’s wonderful. And it’s as easy as making jello.

For PPs who like pineapple cake, here’s one of my favorites (often sneered at)

Piña Colada Cake

1. Bake white cake accorsing to directions on box.

2. While still warm, poke holes all over it.

3. Pour 1 can cream of coconut on top and spread.

4. Pour 1 can crushed pineapple on top and spread.

5. Chill

6. Top with 1 tub Cool Whip.

While it may not be ideal heading into December, it is wonderfully refreshing in the summer.

Yes! My grandmother made this when I was little and I loved it so much that I continued the tradition. My kids loved tearing the biscuits and rolling them in cinnamon sugar.

Unfortunately, it’s getting harder to find the plain biscuits. Somehow I don’t think layered biscuits or (greasier) Grands would work as well.

Was wondering if there was a regional or age thing here. I don't think I've had or been offered anything on this beyond maybe pigs in a blanket.

That’s nice. Do you have anything to contribute, or no?

Sure. Velveeta and Rotel for gross but delicious queso.

And you think that's somehow NOT a Midwest offering?!
