Right, US interests are totally served by letting Israel be destroyed |
Lots of people who are in the U.S. now do not care if it falls. They will take the money they made here, then go home. |
Consequently, we need to be very careful. |
Is Hamas turning over their 240 hostages? Many of whom are babies and the elderly? Is Hamas surrendering? |
These pro Hamas and pro Hezbollah demonstrations are banned in both Germany and France. Hate speech against Jews will get you locked up in both countries. |
They were chanting “We don’t want no Jewish state, we want all of 48”

Right, but they’re not advocating for ethnic cleansing, nope, they oppose that. Freaking genocidal maniacs on both sides it seems. |
Also he needs to look up “insurrection” in a dictionary |
You don’t understand. It doesn’t count because they’re oppressed. |
Right. I forgot. Free pass for them then. |
I'm sure they voted for Biden. They certainly wouldn't be voting for Republicans. Does that make them Democrats? Or is this one of those instances where progressive left activists get to be Democrats when it benefits the party and disclaimed when it doesn't? But while we can nitpick over things, it remains these activists are definitely closer to the Democrats than the Republicans when it comes to politics and political allegiance. Many will most likely have been involved in campus advocacy groups and canvassing groups all funded by the Democrats. |
Who is this "people"? Angry Muslims? Angry stupid college kid progressives? Because it sure ain't the majority of Americans - vast majority - going by all the polls. I concur with the previous poster you responded to. It's amazing, indeed, almost strange (and I use the word almost for a reason) that these protesters still refuse to acknowledge the horror that happened on October 7. It wasn't just shooting people. People who got shot were the lucky ones. Horrible things happened to living people. We don't need to go into the details for the sake of decency but a line was crossed. That's what intelligent adults and civilized adults understand. Whatever Israel's flaws and mistakes are, it has never treated Palestinians the way Israelis were treated by Hamas on October 7. That's why most Americans back Israel in this situation - once again as all polls clearly confirm. Evil happened on October 7. And these protesters are defending evil. The only good thing that can come out of these protests in the United States and even in other Western countries is the beginning of the breakup of the center left, the genuinely liberal left, with the progressive left, who is distinctly not liberal. Mark my words. It's happening as we speak. And will manifest itself in many ways over time. |
