What do you mean that nobody knows what happened? Lots of people know what happened, but just not you.

If you weren't in the room or reading the police report, you don't know what happened.

You know what kids and parents have told you has happened, but that doesn't necessarily make it accurate.

There is a difference.

DP. I hope the rumor I heard is not accurate because if so it implies more than one person was involved for it to have happened.

That’s why they need to get out the truth asap because it is tainting the team.

So wait you know what was on the police report, were in the room and know what every parent and child is saying?

Of course more than one kid was involved. They wouldn't have canceled a game because of just one kid's actions.

Prep should win football every year in the IAC.

GP has 130 boys per grade compared to 85 per class at Landon / STA. 65 boys at Bullis per class to less than 60 at Saint Stephens.

Episcopal has a great program!! They are also very generous with aid. Our son just didn’t want boarding but it is a great
school!

I assume it is not that serious since they are back to practice and games are on.

None of y'all know what your talking about.

The season is not cancelled and the boys will be back in practice soon. Sucks that the administration handled this so poorly.

Lot of jealous not-STA parents in here taking advantage of any opportunity to shit on the school. Stay mad cuz the boys are coming for Jackson-Reed on Saturday.

Why do “the boys” have to come for anyone? Why can’t they just line up and play a GAME called football? When I played and parents from the opposing stands, would say stuff like “watch out we’re coming for you” I would just laugh. You aren’t coming for anything your won’t get out of the stands, and your kids aren’t coming for us either. We are meeting at a mutually agreed upon glorified playground. We are going to chase each other, run into each other some, play in the grass/dirt and throw a ball around. The stupidly arises when people try to make it anything more than that.

You're replying to a teenager. I have it on good authority that kids from multiple high schools are posting on this thread.

Trolling on a thread about bad behavior by teenagers? Imagine.

Come on, that’s just sports talk, it’s not meant to be taken literally.

It really does sound like a teen wrote that one. Too funny.

That passage does sound like it was written by a (STA?) teen. It even comes with a your/ your’re grammatical error.

It happens more than you know. parents think they're having a nuanced conversation with each other but the other poster is a group of 16 year boys in study hall.

Jeff, thank you for limiting the gossip and speculation.

For those who think Sidwell or STA somehow control the media, perhaps you might consider that there are media ethics rules related to minors. Perhaps you might consider why such rules exist.

That doesn't follow. It involved a few boys, not all. That doesn't mean it's not serious as to the boys involved.
