-Babywise. It's amazing. Sorry DCUM!
-Everything cleanliness-wise - I shower every other day, the house cleaners come monthly and besides the kitchen I don't do any other cleaning, towels and sheets get washed monthly. Good enough!
-I don't even own makeup.
-I have a full time salaried job that pays well and since having kids, I work prob an average of 10-20 hrs a week. Got a promotion in there, too. Shrug.

Yes to Babywise!

I did a Babywise-Ferber combo that worked wonderfully. I regret nothing and think people suffer needlessly because they are so rigid.

+1 on the sleep training! So much needless suffering in other parents!

We never sleep trained. I slept with my kid in her room until he was 7. Then she told me she was old enough to sleep on her own. No one cried; no one suffered.

Your husband probably suffered.

Same. Our HHI is over $400K and most of my clothes and our furniture are secondhand.

“ This is why neighbors, coworkers and family never eat the food you make for them. They smile at you and take it, then throw it in the trash when you leave. You’re disgusting.

I would not have a problem with it if you did not wipe or flush.”

I’d much rather be friends with the non-hand washing folks than the woman blowing through traffic lights.

You sound uncreative in the bedroom. I'm sorry.

Me too. Pretty much done unlimited screen time his entire life. He taught himself to read so he could understand Minecraft messages. One of his his first words was “obsidian”!

So far, he’s an exceptionally sweet, happy child, with excellent grades. I don’t know whether that means that our lazy parenting worked or that he is exceptionally resilient to crappy parenting. Either way, he’s doing OK.

I'll pump gas with the engine running because there is no danger in ding so at all. Same for using a cell phone. When I'm grocery shopping, I usually take that time to eat something I grab off the shelf and not pay for it. My cats are outdoor cats and yes, they kill a lot and I don't care. I'm not dealing with a litter box ever.

You're a sociopath.

Please don’t do this. This is a danger to the others around you.

My husband says they do it in the military, so it can't be that dangerous, can it?

He's wrong.

I have butter knives that came with my silverware set. And then I have one steak knife that I use to cut anything tougher than soft fruit.

People have like, four or 12 different knives they use for different foods, but I assure you, you can just use a steak knife that came in a set from Bed Bath & Beyond for everything.

I do this too! 😂

We have gorgeous sharp knives from my registry and only my husband uses them. I use dear steaky universal.

- had a baby before we got married
- don’t wear our wedding rings except for family events
-sleep in separate room from husband because he snores and prefers to stay up later
-also don’t send holiday cards anymore

Another one who sleeps in separate rooms from DH. Perhaps more socially acceptable b/c of snoring/sleep apnea? But the funny thing is that once friends know, since I don't hide it, like half of folks "admit" to me they often sleep separately too (mostly because of kids/sleep issues/odd wake up times not some terrible relationship problem). I'm like, it's OK, really! Not sure why this is so taboo still.

How often do you have a free like 9 hours in a row to do this??

Add us to that pile. Most people get better rest alone. It just makes sense. Maybe our grandparents had it right with the two single beds.
