Seems like the people who think this movie is great because it "raises awareness" of child sex trafficking don't want to stop that activity. They just make money off of it.
|
| Weird to congratulate everyone who has seen it, isn't it? What a strange thing to say! |
You have no proof to back up your statement. |
| I don’t know how to link but Underground Railroad put out word that Tim Ballard has stepped down from the organization following an internal investigation based on allegations made by several employees. Big surprise. |
| In a statement, an OUR spokesperson said, “Founder, Tim Ballard has recently stepped away from Operation Underground Railroad prior to launch of the film, ‘Sound of Freedom.’” They added, “Matt Osborne continues to serve as the President and COO of the organization.” On LinkedIn, Osborne is listed as having served as the president and COO since February 2023, six months ago. |
| I just want to know what happened to the 83,000 children who disappeared at the border, and if they were trafficked. |
Do you believe you could possibly witness child trafficking, but not recognize it? |
What a dumb conspiracy theory. |
| Film earnings are up to 125 million. |
Hollywood is confused by this movie because it portrays human trafficking as a BAD thing, which to them is a bridge too far mentally. Does. Not. Compute. |
This is a weird and nonsensical conspiracy theory. A major Hollywood studio produced it (20th Century FOX). Disney acquired 20th Century FOX and was approached by Angel Studios and the original producer and agreed to sell it to them. If "Hollywood" had a problem with it then 20th Century FOX never would have made the film in the first place, and if they wanted to suppress it, Disney wouldn't have agreed to sell it to Angel Studios. |
|
And, if Hollywood were "trying to suppress it" they wouldn't be running Sound of Freedom in MORE theaters (3285) than Indiana Jones (2885), Little Mermaid (620), Spiderman (1669), Transformers (834) and so on.
The right wing really needs to knock it off with their dumb and unsubstantiated conspiracy theories. |
| That's weird he isn't working there anymore. |
There are apparently some abuse allegations swirling |
