shocking.

Of course that’s his response. And I’m sure a lot of people who believed him so far will buy it.

If the LDS church isn’t supporting him, his senate run is over before it started though.

He announced three days ago that he was thinking of running for Romney’s senate seat. The LDS church put the kibosh on that quickly

Not only sexual misconduct, but manipulating, lying to and grooming the women who volunteered their time at his organization for his own sexual gratification.

As a retired HSI agent I knew from day 1 when he left federal service mid-career that his ambitions weren’t for the good of mankind. He found a platform to feed his narcissism, greed and sexual desires.

Of course he did. The men making this movie are actual pedos & abusers who are getting off that they pulled this con on the rest of the country.

Paul Hutchinson—an executive producer of Sound of Freedom, the film focused on the heavily fictionalized exploits of anti-trafficking activist Tim Ballard—touched the naked breasts of an apparently underage trafficking victim during a 2016 undercover operation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Least surprising twist ever, but I’m glad the truth is coming out.

Another weird twist:

“Ex-OUR “operators,” or people sent on paramilitary missions with the organization in foreign countries, told VICE News in 2021 that Russon’s supposed psychic abilities were heavily relied on by Ballard and OUR to plan and carry out missions. Now, though, the investigative files reveal for the first time the level of influence Russon had within the organization, how much she was paid for her services, and how little intelligence there was to back up some of the missions conducted beyond her word—that of a Utah psychic who claimed to be able to communicate with the prophet Nephi, a figure from the Book of Mormon who has been dead for thousands of years.”

I am never surprised when men who are obsessed with child rape or child sex trafficking or whatever , are actually the ones interested in abusing children themselves.

They get involved so they can focus and fetishize these cases all day long under the guise of “I’m helping stop sex slavery!” while looking at CSAM all day. Didn’t Ballard say that he had watched thousands of hours of CSAM? As his “job”? Yeah sure dude

As a former HSI agent who worked child exploitation cases, there no reason to watch thousands of hours kiddie porn. Most of the image watching is done by computer forensics specialists who have to extract the evidence from the bad guys computers.

Oh, great. So they were sexually abusing the children they were "saving."

Hell of a plot twist there. Guess "nobody" saw that coming.

Exactly. When I saw that quote my first thought was, that’s not how it works. You don’t just sit there watching CSAM all day. Unless you can find some excuse to. He was also quoted/ I believe/ saying he would watch the videos and picture his daughter in them and it would give him the strength to go find and capture the bad guys. Or something. I was like yeah ok, zero chance this guy isn’t a sex abuser himself

Remember when conservatives were astro-turf shaming people into watching this movie on social media?

Saw so many posts like these:
"You're not going to see this movie - why do you support child trafficking?"

So many idiots in flyover country shelled out money to these pervert grifters. Do you feel stupid yet?

I just watched this movie as my teen asked me to watch it with her. It was rated PG13 but really should be PG15 or M26 as the content is so disturbing.

They did an excellent job of presenting the harrowing material in realistic ways.

I am not really understanding why this movie is so controversial since it addresses a huge and growing problem of child sex trafficking from poor countries to both the developing world and first world settings.

The lead character was very religious but in an authentic not overbearing way. My teen and I said there is no way we would have been brave enough to carry out his rescues. If his faith motivated him to help so many children then bravo
