This isn't my experience at all. Most transgender people I know are very fluid and exist in the middle of the spectrum, not at the extreme ends. Look at how many gender-neutral people there are. They are anti-stereotypes.

I don’t have a problem with you however you identify. I honestly don’t care. But if you tell me that you have a penis but feel like a woman and therefore you should be naked in a locker room with you, I say no. Your right to be whatever gender doesn’t outweigh my right to identify how I choose.

It means be inclusive and respectful. It doesn't mean I think they had a vagina at birth or had the same exact experience as me.

Cis-gender woman can have a wide range of experiences themselves. It's not hard to widen the tent.

I'm OK protecting everyone in prisons. Transgender women should absolutely not be in men's prisons.

Why is transgender people in prison such a RWNJ talking point? Are you really advocating for inmate safety in general?

That being born with a penis and raised as a boy is exactly the same as being born with a vaginas and raised as a girl. If this were true, transgenderism wouldn't exist because your sex wouldn't be a notable characteristic. But it does matter- it is a core and defining characteristic, which is the exact reason this issue generates controversy.

This isn't my experience at all. Most transgender people I know are very fluid and exist in the middle of the spectrum, not at the extreme ends. Look at how many gender-neutral people there are. They are anti-stereotypes.

Well I am non-binary. I am referred to with gender neutral pronouns in my day to day life. It’s just a fact.

This is what Rowling was talking about. She saw the insanity of saying, "People who menstruate." Then Rowling's like, "I think there used to be a term for that. Womben?" And everyone loses their sh** at her.

If we're going to start stripping identity from biological function, we can start with trans people. Leave women out of it. We're a protected minority for a reason, our biological functions are INTRICATELY tied up with our history of abuse and exploitation, and taking away our identity doesn't take away our history.

On top of that, we spent decades advocating for safe spaces like single-sex rape crisis centers, and now Rowling is punished and hated for funding such centers. Oh no, what a villain, Rowling spends millions of pounds rescuing vulnerable women and doesn't want them to be forced to be around people with penises. What a criminal she is!

Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos exploits and steals and doesn't care about anything but launching his penis rockets into space, but he's not a bad guy. No one has a problem with it, but you're not welcome in spaces where women are vulnerable and/or naked if you have a penis.

It's not about how you feel inside.

I use the changing room and bathroom that I know have the best chance of being safe in on any given day. Yes, I prioritize my safety over anyone's discomfort of suspecting I might have a penis.

So you can understand why women would do the exact same-- prioritize their safety over other people's discomfort. Right?
