It’s a fetus inside the body of an existing woman. It’s fun to watch you excuse her illegal abortion. You should be calling for her to be charged. And I don’t have to make up words to put in your mouth. I have statistics. And statistically, forced birthers are Republicans and statistically forced birthers are for and against all those things I listed and statistically I’m right. Forced birthers want the medieval period back, women enslaved, no science. Go live your sad life however hypocritically you want but you keep trying to force the rest of us to live your backwards lifestyle. |
No, they’re quite clearly comparing withholding abortions/medical care from women is bad/evil/the work of the devil, while pretending to be good and doing god’s work. Not just doing god’s work, but speaking for god and saying you know God’s will. Where I grew up, that was called being a false prophet, if I remember correctly. I’m pretty sure that’s a big, bad sin. Not that I want to base my government on evangelical Christian teachings, but if I were going to do that I’d probably go with the kindness and loving teachings of Jesus rather than the fire and brimstone god who smote people who made him angry. I’d say you do you, but unfortunately you’re trying to do it to everyone, so I’ll go with WWJD, and J would probably be pretty chill about this situation. He seems pro healthcare. Also, as a Jew, I don’t think he’d be opposed to abortions, especially first trimester or for medical reasons discovered later. He probably wouldn’t be as chill about using abortion as a wedge issue to try to keep schools segregated legally (look it up, that’s why evangelical churches got involved in the politics of abortions) and doing evil things like racism and causing women harm in his name. |
She had a miscarriage. The fetus was not alive. Hence, it was not an abortion. |
Nothing she said indicated that the fetus was dead. |
Christian. |
YOUR God's laws. Your God is not my god. If you want to prey to your god and heed her laws, as long as they conform to USA laws, then that is your business. But understand, there are people who are not Evangelicals or Catholics in this country who do not believe in YOUR god, so please stop telling the rest of us that we have to adhere to YOUR GOD's LAWS...that is the whole point of the USA, it is not a country founded on Christianity, but rather freedom of religion, or no religion at all. So please stop trying to impose the laws of YOUR GOD on to me. I don't impose my beliefs on to you, or anyone else. Get it? |
What are you talking about? I don't know better than God. If God chooses to give these beings souls at the quickening and not before, it's not up to me to second guess His will. |
They are not HUMAN without a SOUL. Why do you insist on putting creatures without a soul on the same level as those babies and humans who have been graced by our Savior? |
And since you can never prove when your God gives a soul, you can believe whatever you want, but you don't have the right to tell me when I believe an unborn fetus has, or has not, a soul. |
|
I really hope you are just rolling now. |
I'm not sure who you're arguing with. If it's me, please know that there cannot be any moral problem with abortions of fetuses before they have a soul. And without a moral problem, there shouldn't be any legal prohibitions. About 99% of abortions happen before quickening. So, we might disagree with the rare situation, if it arose, where the pregnancy is far enough along for the fetus to have a soul, pose no threat to the health of the mother, and the mother still seeks to abort the child. |
The left seems to have religious nutjobs also. |
Nothing to do but exclude superstitious beliefs about the sanctity of fetal life from government lawmaking entirely. |
Please show us the left wing nutjobs who are trying to impose their religious beliefs on to you. |
