Why would you think a fetus younger than 12 weeks has a soul? You know more about souls than Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas? The arrogance! And no we're not talking about unborn *humans.* Without a soul, they can't be human! |
Until they get a soul, they're not human. Sign of the godless times we live in; thinking you can be human without a soul. Surely, you'll agree that there is something more to being human (something holy!) than simply having biological functions and the correct number of chromosomes. |
Are you trying to base laws on your spiritual beliefs? |
The GOP sure as hell is. |
fe·tus /ˈfēdəs/ noun an offspring of a human or other mammal in the stages of prenatal development that follow the embryo stage (in humans taken as beginning eight weeks after conception) "adequate folic acid is important for the developing fetus" un·born /ˌənˈbôrn/ adjective (of a baby) not yet born. "the sound of an unborn baby's heartbeat" |
God's laws. Not mine. If it were up to me, I'd give fetuses a soul at conception. |
What religion are you? |
Thank you for agreeing that fetus, a noun, is the better word choice than unborn, which is an adjective. Unborn describes the fetus. The unborn being which Jessa had surgically removed was a fetus. If she had waited for her body to expel it naturally, she might have been at risk of complications, and I would’ve made the same choice as she did. I believe all women should have the right to terminate their pregnancies or manage a miscarriage in a controlled way, for convenience or for medical reasons, just like Jessa did. I also believe that if women who feel that shouldn’t be a right are held accountable when they choose to have the fetus (aka unborn child) surgically removed after getting the laws they wanted passed, maybe they’ll be more supportive of women’s right to healthcare. |
But Jessa’s is illegal. She didn’t let it naturally pass, she had a procedure. And other women aren’t able to get the same life saving abortion, to say nothing of women who are now pregnant with pregnancies they don’t want. You’re a ghoul. |
Damn. I grew up as a Southern Baptist, and I’m pretty sure if I said that at church it would’ve been considered blasphemous, thinking you could do a better job than God. No wonder you think you should control women, you think you know better than God so of course you know better than all the baby mamas. That post really cleared things up for me. And this is why we can never win with logic against people like this. There is none, and they simultaneously want to use god to control other people and criticize god for not doing a good enough job. |
No they’re fetuses. Fetuses about whom you don’t care except for forcing women to birth them. You don’t like prenatal care, you think socialized healthcare is the devil, teaching critical thinking is “grooming” kids but that child marriage is a good idea, you think any kind of safety regulation is contrary to God’s law and that guns should be everywhere up to and including on a kindergarten teacher’s back. You are a forced birther, hostile to life and progress. You do the work of the Devil and say it’s for the Lord. |
Once you free yourself from calling these controlling losers “pro life” you’re able to see what monsters they are. |
Nothing you typed is true. Her procedure was legal. Any woman in her state meeting the requirements of the law can receive a d and c. You are a liar. |
They are human fetuses. Not whale fetuses, or mice fetuses, or giraffe fetuses, or dog fetuses. They are human fetuses. You have zero idea at what I like and don’t like. I think people who put words in someone else’s mouth are weak and ignorant, because you can’t speak for yourself and have to make up lies about other people. |
No they can’t, no they can’t no they can’t. You and LifeNews will keep ignoring all the millions of women brought past the point of safety and the forced birthers in those horrible state governments will suppress the deaths. You have blood on your hands. |
