Unseating Frisch, who is both frivolous and incompetent, is a perfectly valid and adequate reason to vote against him. If you like something else in Sabio’s platform, that’s a bonus. The fact that you act like there’s some presumption that Frisch deserves to keep his position speaks to the sense of entitlement on his part. |
Huh? Are you suggesting he’s a step up from Biden? |
He should start a thread on DCUM. |
Or maybe do like Frisch, which is only to communicate with people a few months before an election and otherwise ignore them. |
A candidate needs to give me a reason to vote for him. Without attacking his opponent. If he can’t do that, I’m not voting for him. |
Of all the SB members I have ever contacted, Karl has actually been the most responsive! |
He has never responded any time I have contacted him. “Responsive” is the last word I’d use to describe him. |
+1 He has never ever responded to my concerns, even KKG has responded. |
Shrevewood’s overcrowding has been fixed. Vote Frisch out!! The guy is scum. |
You are not voting for Sabio anyway. Move on. |
Provide examples. |
| I had a brief conversation with Karl Frisch asking him for help with a specific action my child's school took that resulted in releasing private information about my child to other many other parents at the school in violation of Federal laws. He told me he would investigate and get back to me. He never got back to me. A school board member should be available to help parents with specific problems a family is facing with the school the child attends. It seems from many of the comments in this thread that he has a history of not listening to parents or working with parents to resolve specific problems in their schools. He should be voted out for that reason alone. |
The overcrowding is temporarily fixed. The numbers will increase as the Covid classes transition out of ES. Are new families choosing private? I don’t think so. |
and there would be a simple boundary adjustment with Stenwood that would fix this problem if it comes to be. We didn't need the $60 million man to come up with a wasteful solution to a problem that may not exist. |
If you look at the membership numbers for Shrevewood, the current second grade class is the largest at 116, followed by sixth grade at 104 and then first grade at 93. https://schoolprofiles.fcps.edu/schlprfl/f?p=108:42:5537396294772::NO: 42_SCHOOL_YEAR,P42_CLUSTER_ID,P42_DIVISION_ID,P42_SCHOOL_ID:202324,1,DIVISION,
I think the current principal solved the overcrowding issue due to the Level IV cluster model. You can see the increased numbers at Lemon Road. |
