Mars Attacks is a treasure. You need to watch it again.

Dear God that movie was awful.

This article (with lots of spoilers) makes a really good point about Don't Look Up. That it's not simplistic and makes a really good diagnosis and prescription for the potentially fatal reality facing us.

Preachy? It’s satire.

It’s satire leaning so far left it’s falling over. To anyone else it’s preachy.

Is it really leaning left though? Seems pretty dead on.

Exactly. Trumpsters are too stupid to understand irony and sarcasm.. and to busy ranting about CRT

I've noticed you have a bad OCD. You interject Trump into everything and nowhere did the producers or cast say Trump figured into anything. In fact, Streep could have been many presidents we've had who promise everything and deliver little. Did you not see the movie?? They went after just about everyone from liberal Hollywood, the media, politicians, Big Tech... and yes the general public. I bet you didn't see it, or read the crappy reviews!

LOL. So it seems that YOU didn’t even watch the movie.

Streep was Trump with dash of Palin. The “don’t look up” hats, the dumb a$$ supporters chanting at a rally, the idiot son, etc.

No it wasn't, LOL! Ok provide a link then!

Here’s the link.
https://www.netflix.com/us/title/81252357

Watch it.

Or if you don’t have the brain power for that:

LOL That is a Newsweek opinion! You can pull up all kinds of reviews, but the actual source (writers, producers, actors) never stated that in anyway.

Other reviews said it could be a mix of Clinton, Trump, etc. It's all projection.

Exactly. It was a environmental satire that took everyone to task. The clueless celebrities, in denial liberal media who only wants ratings, the politicians whose only goal is their political agenda and getting re-elected. The general population who were too engrossed in their smart phones to look up when you could clearly see the comedy.

This wasn't a Dem or Rep satire as some clueless people on here think, or wish...lol

If anything they really went after the media and Tech moguls who are mostly left. It had potential, but dropped off pretty fast in the first half hour.

Tell me you didn’t watch it without telling me you didn’t watch it.

Yes it slammed libs and conservatives across the board. I read the president may have also been a cross of former presidents. Everyone can only guess because the producers haven't said. Except it is a satire on the environment.

Most important it could have been good, but basically it sucked big time. Time to move on...

Too much emphasis on Trump (and I am not a trumper) took away from its aspiration to become an all time movie.
The phenomena they showed are typical for any and all administrations to some extent. They went too far, the allusions became too recognizable- but maybe they did it out of fear of becoming too realistic and offending the current administration?

I loved it.
Making fun of Big Tech, Mass Media, Clickbait, Politicians, and lack of common sense.
Way to go!

The Biden & Hunter show was hilarious. Anything for party votes.

Only thing not realist was China would have already blown it up while American politicians pathetically played politics and $$$ kickbacks.
