Could someone please find the fish maw thread again?? It was just amazing.

No. It's not that funny and we need to let it die.

You know how sometimes after a movie based off of a book comes out, they release an edition of the book with a picture on the cover taken from the movie? Long time ago at a bookstore, we saw a book that had been made into a movie with Brad Pitt. He was on the cover of the book. My friend said, seriously, "Oh cool, Brad Pitt is in this book."

I died when I read this for the first time. So funny and well written. For anyone who remembers the saga of Bob Costas getting pink eye while covering the Winter Olympics a few years back

Okay, I have read this entire article and I haven’t found the funny part, except for Bob’s anecdote in the last paragraph. I found it interesting to read about what was going on behind the scenes, but I can’t figure out what is funny about this article.

Same.

Interesting!! I thought the whole tone was of sort of deadpanned humor, I remember thinking it was a really humerus piece. But you're right, it's not funny in the way a lot of these other videos etc are funny.

Hmm, I just don’t see anything deadpan about it. It was a pretty factual story about an event that happened. Again, interesting to hear about some of the back story, but not terribly funny.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly about it made it seem so funny that you “died” reading it the first time? I’m really interested- I know humor is a really individual thing, and it is fascinating to hear about how differently people react to various situations and why.

Speaking of Friends, I think the Relaxi-Cab/Relaxi-Taxi scene is hilarious. I think about it frequently.

Life In Hell, Matt Groenig's early work. Always makes me laugh, this one in particular. Everything in it is just perfect.

Thank you!

It brought back dome memories of my own cooking misadventures and made me feel a little better about them.

Here's another Groening, from Work is Hell. One of my favorites and funnier now that I've been in the work place for a couple of decades.

I don’t know I guess!! I kind of imagined it in a Morgan Freeman narrator voice when it was like “the decision to take him off the air was…. Not difficult” after Bob had just been quoted as saying something like, “I thought I’d be fine, it was all my decision to stay on the air or go”. Who knows maybe I’d had a glass of wine too.

The Cum Town episode where Adam didn't buy Stav a breakfast sandwich.

The ones I remember the most are “No, our guy is a floating head.”, “What kind of scary-a$$ clowns came to your birthday parties?” and “Ok, I’ll give it back. *exhales through the nose*”.
