It is not phantom. https://abcnews4.com/news/nation-world/documents-reveal-mcauliffe-pushed-virginia-schools-to-teach-critical-race-theory |
Actually it’s not irrelevant. Governors have major power and in Virginia that is more than the case. If you elect one that does not support Democracy and would put in place voting rules like Texas and Florida then yes this vote for Governor is huge. Youngkin stands with the Big Lie that erodes our democracy hence he is unfit for office . VA has some of the best schools in the country Youngkin will give you schools like Alabama and MO. The school argument doesn’t fly he’s not going to make them better he will fit them. But hey if Virginia wants to vote him in and become a red state that tells financially on blue states well …, bye bye American pie this will be the day Virginia as you know it dies. |
Perhaps you should study what the Dem VA Sec of Education is doing to our math programs. Also, explain what they are doing to take academic merit out of TJ. McAuliffe doesn't think parents should have a say in what is taught in the schools. |
He’s trying to blend algebra & geometry concepts - like they do in countries with better math programs. And they want to add data science, statistics, etc. That sounds pretty good to me. 👍👍 |
I do not buy that Youngkin = Trump. I do buy that McAuliffe = Clinton and grifter. |
Straight talk from the leader of the GOP… |
If you drill down in that article to the source document, what was being discussed was "Culturally Responsive Teaching", not "Critical Race Theory". But, I guess to Republicans, all CRTs look the same. I blame to run for office supporting Cooking Real Tacos just to freak people like you out. |
+1 Fiction |
There are plenty of examples of how it is being used in the schools. Real world examples. Go look at the "equity" training being presented in the schools. And, there are plenty of examples of curriculum, as well. |
Equity training isn't being presented in schools. That's teacher training. There is no CRT in K-12 education in Virginia. There is inclusive curriculum that makes sure multiple perspectives are shared. |
Thanks Terry! |

Youngkin had a terrible week. Cake is now baked. |
Hope so! |
"He really didn’t want to discuss his campaign's ads that violate VA law by not abiding by disclaimer requirements" Of course, he did not. Youngkin is going to have a very bad day. |
