Correct. This is not an overstatement. The republican agenda plain and simple is to over turn elections through any means available. They are seriously done w/ democracy. How the people on this board are OK w/ that …I’m just disgusted to live anywhere near such people. |

Schools-principals etc are not required to inform law enforcement of anything but felonies. The school decides if it may be a felony. D. Except as may otherwise be required by federal law, regulation, or jurisprudence, the principal shall immediately report to the local law-enforcement agency any act enumerated in clauses (ii) through (vii) of subsection A that may constitute a [criminal- striked through] felony offense and may report to the local law-enforcement agency any incident described in clause (i) of subsection A. Nothing in this section shall require delinquency charges to be filed or prevent schools from dealing with school-based offenses through graduated sanctions or educational programming before a delinquency charge is filed with the juvenile court. Further, except as may be prohibited by federal law, regulation, or jurisprudence, the principal shall also immediately report any act enumerated in clauses (ii) through (v) of subsection A that may constitute a criminal offense to the parents of any minor student who is the specific object of such act. Further, the principal shall report [u][that-striked through] whether the incident has been reported to local law enforcement [as required by law-strike through] pursuant to this subsection [new] and, if the incident is so reported,[new] [b]that the parents may contact local law enforcement for further information, if they so desire. |

I have been worried about our own literacy program for years. I know many families and teachers who also have concerns. It is not something that will be changed overnight. Now that I see FCPS is working on it, I have no doubt the rest of the state including Loudoun will eventually benefit. Where they go…. we follow. Been the case for decades. | I want the next Governor to take K-12 education and health seriously. Raising teachers salaries will not improve the quality of education in VA. He needs to learn what European countries are doing to have a superior academic level. Some South American countries with much lower teacher salaries have a higher academic level. |

PP here. Oops, I thought he was referring to the Jen Psaki scandal. Missed that he was focusing on campaigning at a church. Yeah, they shouldn't don't that. Tsk tsk. It's unhelpful, isn't it, when some people (black churches) do the same thing that others (white churches) do with impunity. We should all be better. |
