Almost no thinking and decision making is required and the field is way too big with way too many players. A couple of kids do everything and other on the field watch. Have your kids play hockey, soccer, basketball, baseball, even football for a real experience.

My son plays both ice hockey and lacrosse.

You are totally off here.

Hockey requires significantly more skill than lacrosse and each person on the ice is actually doing something. Do you disagree?

Many lacrosse players play multiple sports so I’m sure what your point is here other than to insult people, which is just silly.

Also, can’t you have a PG year and be reclassed when you were younger? That would make you significantly older, no?

you don't understand the sport or trying to troll. Lots of NCAA D1 lax players are multisport athletes played lacrosse - as well as Jim Brown and Gretsky. Who doesn't watch on baseball field except pitcher, catcher and batter and even those players can be out of shape and do just fine.

Sure I am trolling and you are right about baseball too. But Lacrosse is one of the lowest skill sports in existence. The ceiling for the sport is only so high because the lack of thought process. Any good athlete can go in their and dominate after 2 years of playing. And college lacrosse players are the least skilled players in all of college. At my college we would play them in other sports and goof around, they were overall surprisingly unskilled at other sports/activities(cornhole) and beer drinking games(we did not have hockey at our school)

So the kids already graduated HS and then go back and do another year? Do they do the additional year under another name and sex? 2 HS diplomas? Is that like having a masters degree?

Basically the college they want to go to asked them to play another year in HS because they just aren’t good enough yet to play at their school. Some even go play at a “HS” in Canada.

Some call it a “privilege year”.

Sometimes grades/SAT are an issue and PG year helps get over the admissions hump.

Can we get back to the WCAC vs IAC tournament? New England schools are special. We get it.

Who is the favorite to win it all? Prep or St. John’s?

This is comical. Probably coming from a baseball parent where they are the least athletic out there. And Soccer LOL? Go back to the bench where you came from.

Comical because every sport has players on the bench that watch. Has to be a PG parent.
