Whole Foods is crap. I avoid supporting them in any way. I feel the same about Lowes. I had a store employee intentionally double charge me for an item. The guy was strange and made several weird comments to me and I had a hard time understanding him. He thought a part of the item I was buying was something I was stealing. It was bizarre. I went back to the store to get a refund and the manager was worse than the employee. She made several rude comments so, I called Lowes 800 number and filed a complaint. I posted on social media about my experience and Lowes reached out to me and admitted they took my complaint and threw it away. I saw on yelp that other people had the exact same complaint about the manager. Lowes doesn't give a crap. Target is also on my black list because they aren't good at anything other than children's clothes/toys. They seem to have a thousand employees around but if you have a question, you'll never find one. They're a lousy grocery store, their adult clothes are terrible, their home good aren't very nice and are far too expensive given competition from Home Goods and AtHome. Once your kids are mid elementary school, why would you shop there? |

You should have seen how the checker freaked out when I asked when the Halloween stuff was going on sale. I stupidly went there because I was looking for big plastic pumpkins for a craft. A friend pointed me there and had no clue that you don't say that word in HL. They have fall stuff but no Halloween. |

I agree about being followed around in Target and Lowes. I was told most shoplifters are older white women. It is an incorrect myth and I am openly react when I'm treated as such. My Home Depot has always been nice. Re "made in China" you are deluding yourself. |

Target
DD worked as a store manager what an awful corporation. The things they made her do in terms of cutting benefits of employees was horrifying. Guys that take the stuff off the trucks would do back breaking work and then target would never pay medical ie injury protection. One person was taking care of his siblings parents were in jail. He was running late and wore the wrong pants one day (target makes employees buy their own uniform), this young man showed up exactly on time, and DD had to fire him for wearing the wrong pants. Hey still paid their CEO billions while the general worker loses more benefits... Will never shop their again. |

Most stores are absolutely terrible to their employees when it comes to uniforms (my dd had to buy $60 shoes and that money came out of her paycheck), scheduling, company respect for employees. It'd be better to have a list of stores that treat their employees well so we can patronize them. |
