What are you ranting about? These are silly lies. Half their staff is Latino. |
I had a bizarre experience at Ford's Fish Shack. Posted about it in a restaurants thread here. We've never gone back. |

Great Harvest Bread in Alexandria. The owners are MAGA and extreme right wing (heavily involved in 'Turning Point USA'). It's also not doxxing, since they put a sign in their store window.

Loft is on my list too, bc of their terrible credit card. Had some minor issue years ago that they wouldn’t give an inch on. Since then I never even step inside. Also, Lauren’s Garden Service, who sold me an expensive shrub that looked like it might not bud at time of purchase and insisted that a) of course it was going to grow (it didn’t) but b) no, they wouldn’t replace it if they didn’t (yeah, I know, shame on me for buying it anyway but I do spend my gardening $$ elsewhere these days). |
| American Plant are jerks to their young employees. |
STFU you stupid MAGA ! |

I avoid any business that has any hint of leftism in its advertising, store policies, corporate citizenship, etc.
Penzey’s Spices and REI are two prime examples, as well as locally owned eateries/coffee shops. Downtown Richmond, VA is FILLED with little rathole restaurants that are all like that, and I have to spend a lot of time in Richmond during the session. Liberalism destroys everything it touches, and businesses are no exception. |

Y'all aren't going to have any place left to shop.
And those "boycotting" amazon? I hope you also boycott any website that uses AWS. Good luck finding ones that don't! |
| Amazon. |
Yeah, I'm sure that makes their bread taste bad

Amazon has made my life immeasurably better. I love not having to go on a million errands, and I love not paying 15% shipping on everything I buy. |
That’s hilarious! |

Most 'outlet' stores - especially Gap, Banana Republic, J Crew. It used to be fun to shop in these outlet stores - great sales, pretty good quality (not as good as the regular stores but still) but yes, even back in the day, the clothes were made for the outlets. Now, the prices are marked WAY up ($60 for a Gap logo hoodie for example), and then they run a 50% off sale. That's not a deal. I used to source merchandise from these outlet stores and resell on eBay about 20 years ago or so. Many, many times I found rack of stuff for only $1. Not happening today! Plus, the quality is absolutely terrible.
I don't shop at places with terrible return policies with short return windows or all sales final, etc. Or places that want a membership (looking at you Fabletics). Food Lion because every one I've been in is nasty. There's also a few Safeway locations on my list because they stink and smell like a meat locker. Dollar Tree / Dollar General. I don't shop at Dollar stores because the value isn't there. This stuff is NOT a deal. TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ross. These places are overwhelming, messy, and Ive never found anything I've wanted to buy from here. Victoria's Secret: I've prob just aged out of this. I loved this store as a 20 something. Now I hate fussy lingerie, uncomfortable thongs, and stiff bras. Plus it's very overpriced for the quality. Don't care about store politics. |
+1M amazon there are so many reasons and everyone seems to forget what they did to Arlington real estate. Now they're closing all the fresh stores it couldn't happen to a better company! |
Yeah it's all about you, who cares about small businesses! |
