I am the PP, I am not offended, I just don't think it was funny at all. She could barely walk up the steps, saying something doesn't feel right, screaming for help, saying "it is too early", etc. She lost a baby, talked about it on the show, had a "rainbow" party, talked about it on her podcast, etc. It obviously had a profound effect on her. I guess I just don't see the humor in it. |
NP - honestly I don't think it had a profound effect on her. She's using it for show and podcast material, but she also said it had a profound effect on Chris. She was ready to move on immediately. I don't blame or judge her for that reaction. I feel similarly to my miscarriage. It effected my husband, though. I'd rather move on and never talk of it again, I feel no sadness, loss or attachment. But you can't typically say these things without being judged or questioned. I think Monique is in my boat. And that's okay. |
And the thing is - she wants to set boundaries with her mom by buying her own house but the fact that her mom controls all the information about the trust means that she will still be beholden to her mom! |
What is disturbing about this show (and I know, I am watching it even though I find it disturbing) is the extent to which people talk about each other behind their backs, and then go on and tell the target that so and so was talking about her behind her back. I remember when my dd was in middle school and she and her friends did that all the time and it drove me crazy. My kid thought she was doing someone a favor by telling them what someone else had said. That's not a favor! Its not surprising when middle schoolers do this but it's highly disturbing to see grown up women do this. But then again I watch this show so what does it say about me? |
Hahaha! So true! |
+1 And also, when they sell their current house, won’t any profits go straight to her mother since I believe she owns it? So how are they planning on buying a new house? I can’t stand how Candiace thinks looking pretty and batting her eyelashes is going to get her what she wants. |
Are you me??? Seriously! I say these same things and my husband's like but you're STILL watching. They have to have storylines so this is why I believe they're encouraged by producers to do this. The whole Amistad thing drove me absolutely nuts! Every single one of the ladies took that and ran with it in a direction it did not have to go. Its so clear that Gizelle and Robyn are jealous of Monique's lifestyle and maybe even her having a doting husband. |
Absolutely, it is written all over Gizelle's face |
+1 . Completely agree. Mind you, I'm a bit jealous of Monique's lifestyle as well but I don't pretend to be wealthy when I'm obviously not. And I dont have nasty extensions. |
Gizelle’s hair looked so good in the sleek blonde lob. Best I’ve seen her look. |
Gizelle running into that house showing starting crap right from jump. SHEESH!
Ashley's trip to her dad's was heartbreaking. I would not have filmed that. I hope she truly finds some peace that this man only fathered her but is not her dad. karen and this perfume. it sounds absolutely crazy and i bet it sells. bravo is making these ladies into real entrepreneurs. that lady teaching CPR looked absolutely frazzled. if she doesn't already have kids, she prob won't after that visit! ![]() |
That was so sad with Ashley's dad. It's interesting that his siblings are welcoming and not him. I'd hate my brother if he did that. |
OMG when Karen let go of the balloons I wanted to kill her. That should be illegal. |
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had that reaction! |
Me three! I still feel guilty about the ballons we released in elementary school, 30 years ago. How do people not know better today?! Ashley knocking on her dad's door was heartbreaking. What's worse, is that he has another adult daughter that he appears to be close with - in his FB profile photo. What an a sh!tstain of a man. |
