Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

Now, sources from Ryan Reynolds are claiming Reynolds was Steen bur did not berate JB. The picture of Reynolds is very unflattering.
I believe this. He was angry and warned Justin. Justin and Blake are babies with big egos

Blake is a talentless narcissist. This was a scheme to steal this movie franchise.

Why not report on Lively’s complaint factually and not as a bombshell “smear campaign” story before all the facts were in? The texts from the complaint obviously were not complete and lacked context, which you can see when you look at the full text exchange in baldoni’s lawsuit. I find it hard to believe the NYT would have quoted the “I’m the best” texts the way they did if they had seen that whole text exchange. I don’t know if baldoni has a case or not but it just seems so odd to me that the NYT would involve themselves in this story in the way they did.

This whole Lively vs Baldoni story just seems like so much confirmation bias to me. You are either quick to believe she was harassed because she’s a woman/woman in Hollywood, or you believe him because you don’t like her. Or people fall for the PR campaigns on either side even while reading stories about PR campaigns— you hated her over the summer because of her bad interviews and then you liked her because of her sympathetic press in December. Oh well, at least it’s fun to read about anyway!

I think it was a weird approach too. If anything they should've focused the story more on the shady side of PR and not a direct attack on Baldoni. Even with context the PR text messages are bad. On the otherhand it just sounds like poor communication with Baldoni.

Agree. One of the reporters did the Harvey Weinstein story. And the difference is so stark because that was such a villain story. There was no nuance there. Harvey Weinstein raped, harassed, and terrorized his way through Hollywood for years and got away with it. The story is obviously very different and I’m not saying Blake wasn’t harassed, but it had a lot more nuance and they should have presented more context.

It seems like they got caught up and wanted the same bombshell story of a villain going down.

It is what went down, but it looks bad that it was in the couples apartment. It does seem like they were trying to blindside him. Even if they say their intentions were clear, why would they have it there? It just muddies the water.

The real story is why was Ryan Reynolds at that meeting at all?!?!? He was not formally involved! Whether he was stern or not, there’s no way he doesn’t look bad there.

I can understand being upset if someone made your wife feel bad about her weight or whatever but come on, this is a professional industry, and she needs to have her lawyers and team represent her in a neutral meeting location, not her rich husband throwing his d$$k around. What a bunch of entitled clowns.

She’s not a likeable person. This appears to be about a diva being highly insulted because it was implied she was overweight, old, and low talent. Whether they got along or not, he praised her publicly. This all reads like a set up scheme. Why was she telling another man to come to her trailer while “pumping”? She’s an aging whore used to baiting men with sex.

Oh come on, I’m not a Blake fan but this is over the top. In no universe is she overweight and old and I saw the movie and she was good in it.

I’m not sure if her claims have merit and I agree that the public turned on her own without a PR campaign, but this is just misogynistic.

Harvey’s girl was in her physical prime 20 years ago. Women like her go batshit when they age because they have nothing, they’re empty. This man didn’t take her cheap sexual bait—because he’s genuinely not attracted to her—so plan B was to ambush him and launch this scheme. Two ego maniacs running a scheme to hijack the movie, the franchise, and ruin a man’s reputation for sport to try to re-make and repair their own tarnished brands. This reads like it’s fake and exaggerated because it all is. It’s malarkey.

What would a random husband think of his consultant spouse texting a male boss or work colleague to come over to her hotel room and work on tomorrow’s presentation and PowerPoints while she has her boobs out “pumping”? That is sexualized bait. A totally unnecessary detail. She knew exactly what she was doing; trying to use her sex and/or set him up. Spare me the fake feminist feigning breastfeeding talk is normal. Then later she clutches the pearls that HIS dialogue was sexualized harassment? It’s all laughable. She’s a shameless lying schemer.

+100

Blake and Ryan are evil. They wanted to bully and steal the Colleen Hoover book franchise by discrediting Baldoni. They attempted to abuse their massive power difference.

Maybe if your a 13 year boy. It is super easy to cover up when pumping. Not to mention she would've had time to stop since she invited him.

I wonder how long some of these posters have hated women.

I hope to God they are not raising daughters.

The heck?
What reason would BL have to "scheme?? She's already a bigger star than JB. There would be nothing to gain by her.
