Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

They followed each other on social media and they bantered as well. Shortly before filming started when Blake was pregnant Justin had posted something about his workout and she was like “impressive but try that when you’re eight months pregnant” or something along those lines. they were goofing around with each other.

Clearly on set, they must’ve had a good relationship at one time if she was inviting him to run lines while she was pumping and sending silly texts signing them x etc. Now that clearly is not an invitation to do more and I’m not at all saying that she did not have other unwelcome moments on set, but at one point, they clearly got along, and she felt comfortable with him.

It seems like what may have happened is that there were disagreements on set, and Ryan Reynolds got involved and I think that’s when things started to fall apart. It is so strange how involved he was in a movie he was never formally attached to, having the final editing cut, having a formal meeting with Sony and the production company in his apartment, where he screamed at Justin, which sounded totally off the rails BTW doing so much to promote the film as well as writing scenes.

I wonder if when he was jealous or felt threatened by Justin. He strikes me is very controlling. It just seems like people got too comfortable and professional lines were crossed and then Blake and Ryan took advantage of that when they wanted to get their way.

I don’t know if he will be successful in the suit but it absolutely seems that the New York Times article left out key context in their relationship and Blake’s side in this, not to mention, Ryan Reynolds harassing behavior of his own.

This is a good take.

Wasn’t being controlling the reason he didn’t work out with Scarlett Johansson? Might be an internet rumor though.

I think Baldoni and Wayfarer have the most to lose, we will see how it all plays out. Great for the lawyers though. NYT case is especially interesting.

I just don’t understand why the NYT would run the story they did presented with the angle they took. Why not report on Lively’s complaint factually and not as a bombshell “smear campaign” story before all the facts were in? The texts from the complaint obviously were not complete and lacked context, which you can see when you look at the full text exchange in baldoni’s lawsuit. I find it hard to believe the NYT would have quoted the “I’m the best” texts the way they did if they had seen that whole text exchange. I don’t know if baldoni has a case or not but it just seems so odd to me that the NYT would involve themselves in this story in the way they did.

This whole Lively vs Baldoni story just seems like so much confirmation bias to me. You are either quick to believe she was harassed because she’s a woman/woman in Hollywood, or you believe him because you don’t like her. Or people fall for the PR campaigns on either side even while reading stories about PR campaigns— you hated her over the summer because of her bad interviews and then you liked her because of her sympathetic press in December. Oh well, at least it’s fun to read about anyway!

Meh. I bet he has some support. Agency doesn’t want to lose Reynolds as a client.

I know reading is hard but they contend one of Baldoni’s claims CANNOT be factually true.

“In Baldoni’s filing there is a claim that Reynolds pressured Baldoni’s agent at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere. This is not true,” the agency said New Year’s Day in a statement. “Baldoni’s former representative was not at the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ premiere nor was there any pressure from Reynolds or Lively at any time to drop Baldoni as a client.”

They would not assert it as a fact if easily disprovable, own lawyers would not allow and would be a disaster business wise. If not at the premier, alleged conversation did not happen. Wonder how well Freeman vetted his client’s claims?

Ry’s marriage to ScarJo was shorter than Kenny Chesney’s marriage to Renée Zellweger. Lol. Both prob ended for the same reason…………

Baldoni also claimed Blake didn't want to speak to the IC coordinator but that's not true. She had said she would just catch up when filming started. She had just had a baby and didn't want to be bothered but she never outright refused.

I think it was a weird approach too. If anything they should've focused the story more on the shady side of PR and not a direct attack on Baldoni. Even with context the PR text messages are bad. On the otherhand it just sounds like poor communication with Baldoni.

I straight up don't believe the PR agents. They're awful people. The dailymail reporter also admitted he just writes qoutes he gets from PR agents without doing any fact checking. That's exactly why theyre called dailyfail

Now, sources from Ryan Reynolds are claiming Reynolds was Steen bur did not berate JB. The picture of Reynolds is very unflattering.

Reynolds loons like a weasel in the picture while Baldoni looks sexy AF. I have to think there was some jealousy at play.

You can tell that reporter was just baiting Melissa and Blake's PR. I bet that's how a majority of DM reporters work. Say "oh I heard so and so, care to respond so I can shut it down?" When in reality they're you've become the story
