Yep and we knew they'd do this. Play dirty because they got nothing.
Has ANY republican talked about policy? What platform is Trump running on besides insulting and bullying.

Yep.

Increase drilling and become energy independent. This will help reduce prices, halt inflation, reduce interest rates, etc.
Stop the flow of illegal immigrants and deport the people here illegally. This will help reduce crime, make housing more affordable, and help with local budgets.
Enforce laws and allow police officers to do their jobs. Stop the weaponization of the federal government.
Have the US get back to a position of strength instead of weakness on the world stage.

These are just a few that I heard him address just this morning.

We are already energy independent. ??? And maybe the GOP will pass their border security bill that they voted against. ???

These are old. Dumb platform. No wonder Trump’s losing.

There are so many stories like this about Walz.

This is my never Trumper Republican veteran dad, who wrote in Paul Ryan in 2016 and then voted for Biden in 2020. He died earlier this year and I miss him every day, so wish I could talk to him about this ticket.

<3 I am sorry for your loss

Is 24 years in the National Guard equivalent to 12 years in regular Army? 6 years? No matter how you slice the time in it is more than Vance's 4 years. And I can't help but notice that Walz was firing artillery. Vance was firing quips and working on the first draft of his memoire.

I disagree that he was a wrong pick. I'm not sold he is the best pick, only because I don't see him moving the needle, but we'll see.

I agree that this will be won by messaging and do far Harris/Walz has the edge with that.

The messaging with this pick is that she is as far left as republicans have been trying to paint her. As a moderate Dem, this pick is dismaying and feeds right into my perceptions of her from 2020. I can’t vote for Trump but not voting for this either.

Then be prepared to live in Gilead.

Enough with the histrionics . Trump was President before and life was a lot better during those 4 years for your average American than it has been during the Biden presidency. We could afford groceries and gas, didn't have a flood of immigrants invading our country and out of control crime (ex. San Francisco where many stores shut down to do crime/theft).

It's really not histrionics. Trump's Sup Ct got rid of reproductive rights and told him to go ahead and crime as much as he wants, if he's in power. He's promising to be a dictator - and now he has some people with experience to help him do it.

Bad things happen when bad people get power, and he is a bad person. A really, really bad person.

+1. He was the worst president we have ever had. This country is much better served by a Harris Walz administration. Trump can never hold power again if we know what is good for us.

Spokesperson for the Minnesota National Guard says that it is legitimate for Walz to say he was a Command Sergeant Major because he was indeed given a conditional promotion to CSM.

That's as official as it gets. End of story.

He didn’t grow up in San Francisco!

He is from Nebraska and went to West Point.

How did a guy who went to West Point end uo as an enlisted NG Soldier? Officers come out of West Point.

I am still confused how he’s listed as a Command Sgt Major as he dropped out of the SGM academy. He should not claim to be a SGM or CSM. And he got arrested for drunk driving while a Soldier; that’s a career killer.

Funny you MAGA weirdos wanna hyper analyze a military record while you have no problem with a bone spurs draft dodger POTUS and his VP, a Cherry Hill, North Carolina “public affairs photographer” wimp who pretends he was risking his skin in Iraq.

Claiming he went to war. Claiming he achieved a rank in the military that he didn't.

People who actually served honorably in the military do not appreciate his dishonesty.

This is a bunch of baloney. It's a lame Swift Boat attempt by two MAGA Minnesota Guard guys sleazily claiming Walz "slithered away" from serving in Iraq when THEY TOO bailed out of the National Guard and didn't go to Iraq. And WTF anyhow, someone isn't allowed to retire after 24 years? My dad served as an Army NCO for 21 years, that's enough of a lifetime of military service.

Serving in the National Guard is very different from active duty.
He bailed when his unit got the orders for Iraq. The guy who took his place has choice words for him. And, claiming that you are a rank higher than you actually are and also claiming you went to war are just plain lies by Tim.

I'm 🥴

My military family members all prefer Walz to Trump

And, mine are all on the Trump train.

Hyperbolic threats are not effective in persuading independent and moderate voters, historically. But go off, I guess.

Is it hyperbolic to note that abortion is functionally illegal in large swathes of the country? Is it hyperbole to know that women have certainly died because of the religious beliefs of a few? Is it hyperbole that Vance called pregnancy “inconvenient”? Is it hyperbole to share the statistic that about 64,000 women became pregnant due to rape through January 1 of this year and had to carry those pregnancies to term? https://spectrumlocalnews.com/tx/south-texas-el-paso/news/2024/01/25/64k-rape-related-pregnancies-in-states-with-abortion-bans-since-2022

There’s no hyperbole about what the GOP wants to do. All of their deep weirdness will be expressed via destroying women’s lives if they get back in office.

And anyone who is still willing to vote for the GOP is neither “independent” nor “moderate” no matter how much they want to believe that.

I'm not voting for Trump/Vance but I did grow up near Havelock, NC. He was stationed at Cherry Point MCAS, not Cherry Hill.

Why did JD Vance endorse a book that salivates over Franco? Describes progressives as “unhuman”? This? This is why people keep calling him a fascist. It’s not the eyeliner.
