Single Issue Voter: Controlling The Borders

So for those where this is the top issue, the GOP once again proposes spending REDUCTIONS for border security. Please show me how to square that circle.

GOP needs the crisis as a talking point. Dems need the crisis as a talking point. Hence no proposed real solutions. The politicians do not square with the American people the purportedly represent.

I sometimes wonder if some of our representatives are on the take from cartels. But who would ever consider investigating that?

Maybe we are a theater for cartels vs Russia/China.

Yes, I’m being hyperbolic but the situation is dumbfounding.

Except the Dems did in fact pass legislation on multiple occasions, that the GOP rejected or refused to even bring to the floor. So no, this is not a "both sides" thing. The Senate passed bi-partisan legislation that Obama said he would sign. Speaker Ryan refused to allow it to toe House floor, so please stop with the nonsense.

the GOP wants it as a wedge issue and has no intention of addressing it, all while big GOP businesses pay "illegals" slave wages under the table.

Included in Dems' proposals is ALWAYS granting amnesty to millions here already.
That is not going to happen. That is a magnet for more illegal entries.
IOW - the Dems are not interested in securing the border... only interested in bringing in more voters for them.

Take Note:

Not one single Democrat politician cares to demand accurate information about the Southern Invasion of our country.

Why would they? Democrats VOTED for OPEN BORDERS.

That’s just at the federal level. The parties are more than that. If anything, I think that people in some places like NY are waking up to the fact that local elections do matter. Some things sound great on paper, but are unrealistic in practice. We need to accept that some things require smaller steps to attain and that the larger goals may not be achieved in our lifetimes.

This is what Biden has enabled. It will be his legacy.

Children usually arrive in the United States with some idea of who might take them in: either a parent or sibling or, about half the time, a more distant relative or family friend. While parents and siblings often support the children who come to live with them, other adults are more likely to take children in only on the condition that they work and pay rent. Of the dozens of children who have been released to sponsors in and around Parksley during the past three years, more than 90 percent have gone to adults who are not their parents.

We all know the solution to illegal migration over the southern border.

Arrest and jail the people hiring them. Hotel owners. Restaurant owners. Big agricultural company owners. Construction company owners.

Put those people in prison and there will be no more illegal migration to the US. Problem solved.

But that's not going to happen. Republicans love this issue. They will exploit it for all it's worth. No one is closing that border. Republicans love the cheap labor and the crisis visuals. But you don't hear Kevin McCarthy calling for the arrests of the owners of Motel 6 and various slaughterhouses. Or construction companies. Or farmers. Or landscaping companies.

The Republican base are exactly the people exploiting cheap migrant labor. They are the cause of the problem.

NP. PP who says the GOP wants it as a wedge issue is 100% correct. Refusing to even bring it to the floor, refusing to negotiate… these are the signs of a party that need to keep their voting idiots whipped up.
