Where to hire day laborers (no lectures please)?

Where can I hire them? I'm outside of Annapolis, but Laurel isn't that far. I'm thinking there has to be a place in Annapolis somewhere though.

We went to Casa de maryland a few times to hire day laborers in Montgomery County. Love the experience. Check out the location and see which is closest to you. They have in locations in Silver Spring, Wheaton, Baltimore, and Hyattsville. It was a stress free experience with them.

How does it work? Are they vetted in any way? Does anyone there know English?

No but it does mean that when you hire people off the street corner you never know what you are going to get.

Whereas, with the Orkin Man, you have a full background investigation and he presents his ID when he walks in the door. Cuckoo! Cuckoo!
