Go be useful and gargle some bleach. The PP you're responding to is 100% correct. Trump, Flynn, Manafort, Stone, etc - they are not victims, they are con artists. And you've been conned. |
This is spot on. Ignoring/withholding evidence that is favorable/exculpatory...and manufacturing crimes, for political purposes....that is what was going on. Pure and simple. If Flynn was so dirty, FBI's Crossfire Razor would have come back with something other than "No derogatory information". And no, it wasn't Bill Barr's doing...Crossfire Razor ended 2 years prior to Bill Barr. |
DP. No. You've been conned by dirty investigators. |
When Flynn filed his retroactive FARA registration, that had not yet been discovered by the investigators but had already happened. Or not happened. Not closing a case doesn't mean anything, one way or the other. You keep going on about exculpatory evidence, you got the general counsel of the FBI fired for it. But the newly filed evidence isn't favorable to Flynn. It's just ordinary information that would ordinarily not have been filed. Sidney Powell isn't a good lawyer. Don't read too much into her filings. |
You don't know this. Much of the newly filed evidence has not yet been made public. There is more to come. "But U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan has now prohibited Flynn from filing newly obtained government records in intervals until after prosecutors finish turning over documents to U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri Jeffrey Jensen." https://www.courthousenews.com/flynn-prohibited-from-filing-new-records-as-trump-says-he-will-be-exonerated/ |
The evidence made pubic to date is damning for Flynn. If there was anything that was helpful, it would be released.
For what reason would the administration be withholding stuff for three years, that would exonerate Flynn? |
So you believe Stone, Manafort, Flynn and Trump haven't done anything wrong and this is all just dirty investigators? If you truly believe that, then you also believe all of the court filings, all of the sentencing documents etc. related to Stone, Flynn and Manafort are manufactured BS and that longstanding and in many/most cases, GOP appointed judges are in on it? Is that what you are saying? |
No. Stone is a fool and it appears that Manafort is a crook from what i understand. But, neither were colluding with Russians. Although, in seeing how the Mueller team chose to go after Flynn, I would not be surprised if they used dirty tricks on Manafort, as well. We saw on CNN how they treated Stone. I imagine that if Hillary's pals had been investigated properly, that there would have been even more dirt there. Podesta and his brother appear to have similar connections. Flynn was never a Russian asset and they knew it. But, that was their excuse for interviewing him. If that doesn't trouble you, no matter your politics, then you are beyond help. |
Stone and Flynn were charged/convicted of process crimes. Nothing to do with Russian collusion. Manafort was charged/convicted of financial crimes. Nothing to do with Russian collusion. Surely, if all of these people were as dirty as you say, they would have been charged/convicted with far more than they were. Plus, that all would have happened well before Trump was elected. Isn't it curious that all of these supposedly dirty people were never charged with anything, for years, until Trump was elected? Judge Jackson (Manafort,Stone) was appointed by Obama Judge Sullivan (Flynn) was appointed to the Federal bench by Clinton (although he was appointed to the District Court bench by Reagan) Judge Ellis (Manafort) was appointed by Reagan |
So it’s Hillary’s fault. Got it. She was one busy woman. |
Al Capone was convicted of financial crimes. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t a mobster. They are all criminals. |
What was given to the defense by Jeff Jensen, the investigating agent, has essentially been embargoed after some of it was released. What WAS released was damning for the FBI agents and prosecutors involved in the case. And, why was it withheld? I think we will need to find out from Dana Boente. Word has it that he was behind withholding exculpatory material. |
No it wasn't. What was publicly released wasn't favorable to Flynn or damning to the investigation. Boente was withholding the material because it wasn't exculpatory. Distracting, yes. Exculpatory, no. |
1. Flynn did NOTHING wrong. 2. Stone is a wacky individual, but he did nothing illegal. 3. Manafort is a different story. His crimes were well before he joined the Trump campaign and were investigated as far back as 2014.
https://fortune.com/2017/09/19/paul-manafort-fbi-surveillance-donald-trump-russia/ The prosecution of Manafort did not require a special counsel. |
The defense was not informed that the FBI was planning to drop the investigation of Flynn on Jan. 4, 2017 until Strzok intervened. THAT is exculpatory. |
