Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

It is so strange how involved he was in a movie he was never formally attached to, having the final editing cut, having a formal meeting with Sony and the production company in his apartment, where he screamed at Justin, which sounded totally off the rails BTW doing so much to promote the film as well as writing scenes.

I wonder if when he was jealous or felt threatened by Justin. He strikes me is very controlling. It just seems like people got too comfortable and professional lines were crossed and then Blake and Ryan took advantage of that when they wanted to get their way.

I don’t know if he will be successful in the suit but it absolutely seems that the New York Times article left out key context in their relationship and Blake’s side in this, not to mention, Ryan Reynolds harassing behavior of his own.

I think Heath, Sarowitz and Baldoni were all being sketchy. The 3 of them are all Baha'i and part of Wayfarer. Steve has the deep pockets and apparently is doing whatever he can, by any means necessary, to protect Wayfarer, and got caught redhanded playing dirty with the PR nonsense.

What case does he have? She filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department because of the retaliation. She didn't go after him personally until he sued her. It matters not at all if you personally like them or find them sexy or smug.

She's wise. If he wants to sue her for defamation, it will be nearly impossible to do so if she's only speaking through court pleadings and filings. She's smart to avoid talking about this directly. I haven't seen in her anything except an episode or two of Gossip Girl, and know little about her, but I respect how she's been handling this. She tried to make complaints to HR, used the strike to get Baldoni and Wayfarer to agree to better working conditions and get the signed rider, and when the bad press started rolling in, stayed calm and laid the foundation for her civil complaint and lawsuit. This is what a serious professional person does.

A serious professional doesn’t arrange a meeting in her apartment so her very powerful husband can scream at the director of a film he’s not attached to.

There’s clearly more to the story than what the NTY portrayed.

I’m not trying to undermine his case. Justin and definitely his producing partner sound whacko, but I am saying that the latest lawsuits are going to undermine the public perception a little bit. You can already see it on social media.

I think Justin did a lot of things wrong, but I’m not sure all of it together merits him being completely cast out of the industry, never working again, which is basically what Blake and Ryan have set out to do. I can’t imagine he’s the first director to be concerned about an actor’s weight? Again it’s wrong and it should be called out, but I’m not sure he should never work again. And I’m still fuzzy on exactly how it went down. Fat shaming seems kind of a strong word, as Blake lively, even probably three hours after giving birth, has never, ever been fat.

Honestly, I don’t see how either of them comes out looking good after this.

I'm not on team anyone here. I don't think the case is clear at all based on what was presented, other than he seems like a weird douche bag and she like a mean and vapid girl. But you can be a douche and innocent, and be a mean girl and sexually harassed. Facts have to be determined and they will be with the lawsuit.

It is so strange how involved he was in a movie he was never formally attached to, having the final editing cut, having a formal meeting with Sony and the production company in his apartment, where he screamed at Justin, which sounded totally off the rails BTW doing so much to promote the film as well as writing scenes.

I wonder if when he was jealous or felt threatened by Justin. He strikes me is very controlling. It just seems like people got too comfortable and professional lines were crossed and then Blake and Ryan took advantage of that when they wanted to get their way.

I don’t know if he will be successful in the suit but it absolutely seems that the New York Times article left out key context in their relationship and Blake’s side in this, not to mention, Ryan Reynolds harassing behavior of his own.
