New Bravo Show: Real Housewives of Potomac

From the unseen footage audio, the camera man believes it happened, but Michael claims it was an accident. He was totally paid off.

Oh good lord Candice. You cannot afford a 2M house. You couldn’t afford the 500k condo in MD. And no one believes you have a trust...

I guess I believe she has a trust because it would explain the way she seems conditioned to expect expensive things but doesn't have a visible source of income. But I don't understand how 1) she doesn't know how much money is in it or when she'll get that money, yet 2) she's trying to live her life like the answers to 1 are $infinity and next week.

The househunting scene was fun just to watch Chris's reactions.

This episode really made me dislike her. The reality is that more than likely her income stream will become smaller or stay stagnant. She isnt a star. Being much older than her, all I could think about was how she is robbing from her children's futures by blowing so much money on a house. I doubt she'll save a penny for her kids. Hoping they can afford Nova.

He has kids with three different women. He’s clearly not great in the picking department.

That’s every house wife on every series. It’s all debt, renting, and borrowing things. Candice was working as a waitress when she met Chris and has an Acura. That’s not someone living an expensive life.

I agree that she doesn't have the money, but she always sets her budget for things at "I am objectively rich" standards. $100k for a wedding, $2.5M for a house -- most waitresses driving Acuras don't have these delusions. Growing up hearing about how eventually she's getting a trust payout would at least partially explain that for me.

I was very shocked by Monique's "joke" about her water breaking. As a person who recently suffered a miscarriage, that was really in poor taste.

I thought she was going to say she peed herself.

Bethesda resident here - The land itself is a good investment. It’s difficult around here to get a house in good shape for less than $1 million but it can be done. She’ll make money on this if she renovates wisely.

Anonymous wrote:The last episode (and the last few minutes) were crazy. They showed Michael basically admit that he did something the camera man didn't like. Maryland Case search says the plea was "other" and the disposition was "nolle prosequi". I don't know what that means....but if there is footage, why wouldn't it be a guilty finding? My bigger question is what is Bravo doing about it? Shouldn't they fire Michael from the show?

That means the plaintiff formally dismissed the charges.

Sounds like they settled.

And how is Bravo handling it? Why wasn't Michael fired?

Surprised no one mentioned the timeline of Ashley’s pregnancy. This happened September 1st.

What does that have to do with a miscarriage..... god people are offended over everything.

What timeline? They’d been trying since last Spring (at least). Their miscarriage was sometime late last Spring.

That is what seemed odd about it. I knew a handful of trust fund kids. Most, but not all got the money before they were 30 and all of them knew exactly how much they were receiving. Looking at a $2M was the funniest part of the epsiode considering her mom has said on 2-3 different episodes that she pays the entire mortgage. Not sure if Chris financially supports his children, but being able to afford a $2M would certainly raise eyebrows with their mothers.
