? Who are these weirdos littering this thread?

Fani Willis has many enemies for doing the hard job of taking out the trash. Obviously her enemies are going to place her entire life under the microscope and make a huge deal out of any minor thing they can find.

But the Georgia case will continue, and Trump will not escape.

Her hard job of profiting off the relationship she has with her direct subordinate?

When y'all throw out words like "profiting", it shows that you are unserious and your complaints are unserious. FYI

Let's think about it.

She hired him - with no felony prosecution experience. She paid him $250/hr (more than the other prosecutors, despite her protestations). She accompanied him on at least 2 trips that we know of (not to any location pertinent to the investigation).
SHE was responsible for his hiring and approving his compensation. He used that compensation to pay for her travel and accommodations. And, there is some reporting that the two of them are living together.

Yeah, I think profiting is a good description of what happened.

Did you convince yourself?

Say it a few more times. Maybe you'll talk yourself into believing that nonsense.

Convincing argument, pp.

There's no point in engaging with the crazies on this thread. I push back to let them know they aren't getting away with their silliness but that's about it.
I'm not going to spend time trying to lead them back to reality.

So, when the investigations prove that she improperly hired an unqualified prosecutor and profited from that hiring, we will revisit this thread.

Sure. In the meantime, toddle off to X where all that remain are the crazies. You'll find your people there.

All of these revelations about Fani and her lover came about from Mike Roman's legal defense team.

Interesting that the GA Grand Jury recommended NOT indicting Roman, but Fani just had to have her way.

Karma is a bit*h.

"Notably, Roman was the only one of the 19 people Willis charged who had not been recommended for indictment by a special grand jury which spent eight months investigating election subversion efforts in Georgia after the 2020 election."

As the director of Election Day operations for the Trump campaign, I'm curious to know why the grand jury didn't indict him among all of the others. What were they told or not told to lead them to make that decision? His lawyer doesn't seem to be going in that direction, currently. Instead she's raising this already-rejected objection on the basis of "fairness" which is more usually a civil rather than criminal argument.

The alleged affair isn't good optics for Willis. This motion isn't good optics for Roman.

HAHAHA. That is just righteous, she should have left well enough alone. Oh well.

A classic case of FAFO.

The first one did not. The second one did.

Fani was doing the equivalent of "judge shopping." Karma.

The first one didn’t have the authority to indict , so… who cares?

I'm guessing Fani probably cares, along with Wade and his soon to be exwife.

The tax payers of GA seem to care quite a bit. All that time wasted and other cases put on hold for this big one, that now at least seems to be at a stand still at best, worse restarted or kaput all together.

And the Feds are now wondering if there were misappropriated covid funds that were spent on a pet project that had nothing to do with the pandemic.

So in my estimation, a lot of people seem to care. Pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered.

I hope his ex-wife benefitted enormously in their agreement.
She had him by the short hairs...... He must have agreed to a pretty handsome payment to avoid a hearing and a situation that might require the testimony of his alleged lover.

Maybe. But she also has an interest in him not getting fired and/or losing his income.

True. Much of that income he tried to hide from her.
