I was in back-to-back meetings all day and then went out with friends after work so this is the first time I've gotten to check Reddit or DCUM... and Jana got arrested!?

I feel terrible for her! You know all Anna's kids have been thrust upon her since they live in the warehouse next door on the compound.

Maybe she'll get some jail time and finally come out.

After reading this incredibly disturbing article about the type of content that Josh watched, apparently, for entertainment, I would really like to see a harsher punishment for Josh than life in prison. If his sister is in anyway assisting him in seeing children, even his own, she needs a harsher punishment than 90 days in jail. I have no idea why they haven't destroyed all copies of this horrific abuse. Even calling it horrific abuse feels like an understatement. People who consume this are not really human.

Josh will likely get something in the 10-15 year range. The mandatory minimum is 5 years.

Wasn't Josh's plea deal for 10 years? He didn't take it, and was found guilty by trail.

He will definitely get more than 10 years. Hopefully more like 20.

But they’re not stopping anything. They’re trying to catch the criminals committing these crimes, but they’re not preventing anything. If you’re serious about stopping these kinds of crimes, support women’s rights (you think that these kinds of crimes aren’t part of the continuum that generally disrespects women and women’s bodies? Yes, I am aware there are male victims, too; I don’t think they’re the majority of victims) and listen to that TikTok via reddit that was linked above. She talks about how purity culture helps drive this kind of gross crime.

Sex offenders are usually housed together away from the general prison population because of safety. My sibling is a corrections officer on a sex offenders unit. The population is typically highly educated and white. It was shocking to learn how many were doctors and lawyers.

You're so right. These people are a bunch of quacks. Their time would be much better spent at Women's Rights Rallies. These officers are wasting their time. "project safe childhood"? Clearly, they're not taking this seriously enough. Start with women's rights! THEN people will stop raping toddlers.
