FCV is violating US Soccer and Loudoun County rules. Well not so good for their DA License.

Diane Drake is now FCV. Not sure she cares. Not sure anyone on this board cares. Not sure anyone outside of Loudoun SC cares. Shows how desperate they are to stop the bleeding. Yet, many on this board deny it.

Bles park does not belong to Loudoun Soccer. Tool bags.

US Soccer cares. trust me they care. I doubt Diane Drake is aware of FCV violations at this point.

What violations? Nothing in the documentation states that a for profit cannot use the fields.

SOCCER AMERICA: Why is FC Stars leaving the U.S. Soccer Development Academy?
JASON DEWHURST: There are many different reasons. At the end of the day, we felt we had to do what was right for our membership.

(MEMBERSHIP = CUSTOMER. It's right there in black and white. "At the end of the day we had do what's right for our membership")

It's not the wrong or right decision. But it's not how any top club in the world develops players. In the USA the super clubs develop players, as a business, for college soccer. They are huge clubs. They could easily find enough players for DA rosters that didn't want to play HS, and they have enough money to keep rosters small enough to everyone gets enough playing time. But they have to keep the best players from going to competing clubs if they don't want their B teams to get beat in the next league down. And too few parents will keep their truly talented players on the B Team of any club. Sooooo, these super clubs have to put 25 players on their rosters. And the S&$% Storm commenced when they had to live up to a 25% start rule and limited substitutions.

They dropped the DA because of this. It fundamentally threatens their true mission. That mission is to be the best club as measured by parents wallets. To do that they have to put the most kids into college and consistently beat teams from surrounding clubs.

It is a business decision, period.

So you DO believe that everything you read and are told. In all your life, you never ever heard of any organization spinning a decision? Ever? You think they will actually always say what's going on behind the scenes? I guess gullible adults exist as much as gullible children. Makes sense....

Pressure On Printed Press: How soccer clubs determine journalism in the German Bundesliga

"An integrative analysis contrasts results from spokespersons and journalists. Both sides see journalists as more dependent on the spokespersons than vice versa. None of the spokespersons interprets their role as a service provider for the media but journalists do. Additionally, 87 percent of the journalists expect clubs to increase pressure on their reporting in the future. Assessing honesty, more than 90 percent state that spokespersons withhold certain information or do not tell the truth constantly."

It is a fact that while journalists report what they are told, all organizations who have a service they wish to market will and always have tried to control their representation in the media. Let's not be naive here folks.

You should tell her since she’s a paying member of FCV now

Loudoun County makes it easy to report FCV violations. They will investigate. I assume Miriam Hickey is the one who will care at US Soccer.

FCV is pretty shady. Karma is a bitch.

What can you do? Please, tell us all what you can do?

The only thing you are capable of is being a wee little tattle tale. Go run and tell WHOMEVER.

Bles park is a Loudoun County park. LOUDOUN SOCCER ALWAYS THINK THEY CONTROL THE PARKS. YEAH..I KNOW YOU HAVE COUNTY EMPLOYEES AS BOARD MEMBERS. BETTER HOPE THEY DON'T STEP OUT OF LINE AND ABUSE THEIR POWERS AS PUBLIC SERVANTS IN ORDER TO SWAY DECESIONS IN FAVOR OF A CLUB. THAT COULD BE ARTICLE WORTHY.

SAVE THE TOUGH TALK FOR CHILDREN. GROWN FOLKS AREN'T IMPRESSED.

Germany is not the USA.

Sure, all sorts of people put pressure on us journalists -- USSF, clubs, coaches, even obnoxious fans. Comes with the territory.

In almost any controversial situation, there's often more to the story. That's not ridiculous.

But if you have something that specifically contradicts what was said here, well, please say so. Say it here, or if you prefer, I'll put you in touch with Mike Woitalla or Charles Boehm.

I could have brought an article mentioning the US. The archangel Gabriel could have backed it up. As the old saying goes, you can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
