Boys DA dominates because of MLS money.
Girls ECNL traditionally dominated because it was the only national platform since 2009 until this year. That’s why the top programs have Boys DA and Girls ECNL. Until this year. Now top clubs are moving back to that format |
FCV's for profit DA club trains on Loudoun county fields? Nothing to see hear. Look away folks. |
Spoken like a try moron. Congratulations! This buds is for you! |
BLES PARK belongs to Loudoun SC? You for real.l? I change me thought. You are the true moron. This buds for you! |
I have never thought about that before. Is that not allowed? I know FCV cannot play winter practices in public schools like Loudoun so winter practices are usually a mess for them. If for profits cannot use county fields FCV is done. They don’t have the money to practice at Evergreen. |
It is not allowed. In Loudoun County they must be a 501 (c) 3 as of 2016. I am going to report them. |
The best course of action is to report FCV to both USSF and Loudoun County for violating field usage rules. The DA ID sessions were at Bles Park. That violates USSF facilities rules for DA teams. FCV is claiming and using facilities that they do not have access to. |
So FCV's DA program is for profit however they train exclusively at Evergreen. FCV also has a 501 C3 organization that they run all of their NPL teams out of that is called FCV United they on occasion practice at bles field. All of the ID sessions I am aware of were conducted at Evergreen |
FCV DA played games at Bles. Look at their schedule. If it says Field 2 that is Bles Park. You can click the link and it shows it on Google maps. |
April Kater and Jill Ellis will not be happy to hear FCV DA is breaking USSF, US Soccer and Loudoun County rules. Does Diane Drake know about this? |
Lol. This board is full of physo Loudoun Soccer parents. Evergreen complex has multiple fields you goof. Field 2 is only.Bles..lol...WTF. Also, FCV are Loudoun DA partners this year. Truly nuts. This is why I hope Loudoun sinks |
I have seen videos of FCV DA playing games at Bles Park. |
Well I'll be darned, you are right. Bailiff, whap his peepee. |
He says exactly why they left, and it's got nothing to do with what he probably privately believes is best for developing top class players... SOCCER AMERICA: Why is FC Stars leaving the U.S. Soccer Development Academy? JASON DEWHURST: There are many different reasons. At the end of the day, we felt we had to do what was right for our membership. (MEMBERSHIP = CUSTOMER. It's right there in black and white. "At the end of the day we had do what's right for our membership") It's not the wrong or right decision. But it's not how any top club in the world develops players. In the USA the super clubs develop players, as a business, for college soccer. They are huge clubs. They could easily find enough players for DA rosters that didn't want to play HS, and they have enough money to keep rosters small enough to everyone gets enough playing time. But they have to keep the best players from going to competing clubs if they don't want their B teams to get beat in the next league down. And too few parents will keep their truly talented players on the B Team of any club. Sooooo, these super clubs have to put 25 players on their rosters. And the S&$% Storm commenced when they had to live up to a 25% start rule and limited substitutions. They dropped the DA because of this. It fundamentally threatens their true mission. That mission is to be the best club as measured by parents wallets. To do that they have to put the most kids into college and consistently beat teams from surrounding clubs. It is a business decision, period. |
