I think we all should wear paper gowns.

And be knocked out for the duration of a flight, ala the Fifth Element.

Everything I've read about the pilot makes me think he was completely sane and level headed.

-She was completely obsessed with the Malaysian airlines disappearance. Friends and family said her obsession seemed excessive and they wondered about her sanity.

-She has friends who are from Iran, Pakistan, India, Iraq and Malaysia. These friends have travelled back to their homelands within the past 5 years.

-She once dated a man who had a background in aerospace engineering

-Her obsession with 9-11 was as excessive as her obsession with the Malaysian airlines

-We checked her computer and she has spent endless
hours reading news articles about terrorism, school shootings and.....how to tone her belly (we think that is code for something nefarious)

-She made a mysterious phone call before the plane took off...da..da...da...dum

Totally agree. I still don't think either of the pilots is responsible.

+1. If you scrutinize anyone's life looking for reasons they did something terrible, no doubt you'll find something. How many among us haven't been mad at the world/our family/our boss and said something that could easily be misconstrued into -- oh she had a vendetta or had reason to be unhappy with her life.

I actually thought about bring sleeping pills on plane rides. If the plane is hijacked, I want to die sleeping. I stay up at night thinking about the horror those passengers endured.

I agree. It's seems so invasive to go through his house and computer. He was probably just doing his job and tried his best to save the plane.

I feel so badly for the pilots' families. It's hard enough to lose someone you love, but for that loved one to also be under the veil of suspicion for something so heinous must be nearly unbearable.

Ok assuming he didn't do it, don't you think he'd want people to search up and down to help clear his name? It feels right now that it's 50/50--could be him, or could be someone else forcing him--he could have ditched the plane and killed himself to save people on land. If that's the case, I think he'd want people combing through his stuff to alleviate suspicion. If it were me, I'd want them to tear my place apart.

Pilot forum. Lots of acronyms and words that I don't know, but totally obsessed with the MH370 thread.
