Voters gave him the house and the senate therefore he’s never leaving
Elections free and fair ones were gone they own the election commission and voting machines in 27 states Maga the cult of anti American did this and we are never ever going to get to vote again While I absolutely hate republicans I can not wait for many of them to suffer greatly for why they have done . For all of you that said it’s ok for so and so to have opposing views. Nope it was not ok! They are idiots and traitors. My family can leave the US and live comfortably somewhere else |
He's only 3 points behind Nixon at his worst in August '74 as the whole Watergate scandal unfolded. He's in the company of the worst President's we've ever had. |
Rest assured, he’ll keep insisting he’s the most popular president ever and his approval ratings are higher than anyone’s ever seen. |
+1 American citizens need a return to normalcy after enduring Trump 1st term, Biden, and now Trump 2nd term. Seriously, how did we follow up Trump's disastrous 1st term with bumbling Biden and then commit the mind-boggling sin of electing Trump again? At least Nixon was preceded and succeeded by fit for office presidents. I've never been more discouraged by the low intelligence of the American voters but I still love them, I reckon. |

Did he smash up the East Wing as well to taunt Melania? Just read it’s where the First Ladies get their work done? And the garden. I wonder what his approval rating is with her? He will never be beloved like Obama. It’s the golden ring he will never catch.

If Biden hadn't run, Trump would have had a second term and we would currently be in the middle of Trump's reign. At least now, we have a chance of getting out of this, but stop blaming Biden and the democrats. |
It would have been nearly impossible for Trump to win a second term had the Dem's nominated a normal/fit candidate in 2020 who was capable of serving two terms. Anyone with a pulse could have beaten Trump and his 38% approval rating in 2020. Why nominate someone with a weak record of being popular outside of their home state and someone who wouldn't be viable four years down the road? Just to please the mega-donors is not a good excuse in my opinion. |
No doubt. But some house members in marginal districts are going to start taking note and figuring out how to triangulate. And when things start getting this bad, the gerrymanders will start becoming dummymanders. |
Kamala Harris wasn't a great candidate but I guarantee she wouldn't have caused as much turmoil and screwed things up this badly domestically and internationally if she had been elected. We Americans are stupid. |
This is ahistorical. All of the polling showed that Biden was the only primary candidate showing decisive wins over Trump while polling for Sanders and awards and Buttigieg etc. was much more iffy. |
| ^^^ “awards” should be Warren, thanks autocorrect |
lol.... the mega donors strongly preferred the known commodity, Biden, who had a history of playing nice with party financiers over the anti-capitalists, Sanders and Warren. The talking point "Biden is the only one who can beat Trump" was created out of thin air because Warren and Sanders were leading in the polls during the summer of 2019. God forbid the mega-donors be pissed off. Anyone with a pulse could have beaten the historically unpopular Trump in 2020 (Truth). End result- Biden's term ends in complete disaster with Trump easily winning a second term in 2024. Never saw that coming? |
I blame Sanders for Dems failures in 2016 and 2020. He created an environment which made it impossible for Dems to coalesce against a better candidate. I like some things Sanders does, especially his recent town halls, but if he absolutely a factor in Trump’s rise. |
You keep saying anyone with a pulse could be Trump in 2020, but that was not what polling showed at the time. A lot of people were planning to sit out the election until Biden decided to run, which could have handed Trump the victory. |
+1. PPP, you are all over threads here trying to establish a narrative that doesn’t align with this facts at the time. You come off as a still bitter Sanders supporter. It’s time to move on. |
