I heard there was a large turnout at the tryouts in that age group.

coach told me that the other coaches where saying that 2010b had one of the biggest turnout ever, in any age group or gender.

Arlington can thank McLean for mishandling tryouts and offers in this age group, which has forced players to look at other options/clubs. There were a lot of players that did not show up for today's practice for the top two teams. For those who showed up, there was a line of parents to talk to the age group coordinator after the practice. And they did not look particularly happy.

Which practice had the line to talk to age group coordinator ? McLean or Arlington?

McLean.

Does no offer at this point mean that your child didn’t make any team at Arlington?

Also, if they are a current Arlington player, in good standing, they will get an offer to a team in the club.

Yes. That’s what was communicated last month.

Do you think it’s too late to calll a coach and do a 1:1 tryout or join a practice? Our current club has many players leaving and now our son is thinking about it too.

It is not too late, there is always space for a good player. Arlington has many teams so they might be able to find a spot depending on the age group and the skill level of your player.
