So who here went to the ballet coronavirus party?

It sounds like she got tested BEFORE the ballet party? Is that true? And then she was waiting for results, the doctor called, she didn't call back until after the event?

Why do two rich women run a store full of overpriced crap? Is it...fun?

It's a money losing hobby so they can say they work and it keeps them busy. The husbands support it for that reason.

Kind of like all those R&F and various MLMs, but at a higher level of expense.

I think it’s a great idea - vacations with shopping trips can be written off as “business travel.”

At first I thought their target customer would be men who need to have gifts sent to their APs but it doesn’t seem that’s quite the angle they’re going for.

I remember purse parties from the early 2000s. Awful.

BURN.

You are not in her circle if you are talking to press. I don’t know her but the pearl clutching is dumb. How long did she wait to tell people? If it was a day, could understand if she was totally stressed. The party itself seemed like it was thought to be a good idea. Outside and tables not close-okay 8-10 at table instead of six but dam you guys are a hard crowd. FYI she would probably not give me the time of day and still feel this bitchiness is mean to her. Tired of people just acting holier than thou. Everyone is doing something wrong and should be punished forever. God who is good enough these days.

At the time of the party, the limit in DC was 10 people gathered together. She, and her attendees, knowingly and willfully chose to ignore that. The limits were put in place SPECIFICALLY to ensure this didn't happen. She didn't care. She needed an audience to tell her how great she looked online when she hosted the gala. Plain and simple. She lives near me; people I know who were there have now tested positive. This was a stupid, selfish, ILLEGAL choice by all who chose to participate.
